𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐃 to watch Scott play on the field. From a few meters away from the duo, they say Jackson speaking to his teammates.

Vanessa immediately knew that the Whittemore teen boy was up to something and she knew that it was something bad. And she didn't like it. Not one bit.

"Only to me."

"But what if he's open?" Danny Mahealani - Jackson's team-mate and best friend - asked in response.

"Who's the captain, you or me?" The jock questioned in an arrogant manner, knowing that he would ultimately win the argument due to the fact that he's the team captain.

"Jackson, come on. I just wanna win."

It seemed as though Vanessa wasn't the only McCall to listen in and watch what's going on.

"We will win."

"But--" However, Danny was interrupted again.

Jackson was getting even more restless with how adimant his best friend was being, "What. Did. I say?"

Danny sighed in exhaustion, knowing that he's already lost the argument, "Don't pass to McCall."

In return, Jackson used his left arm to jab Danny in the chest, as if to say 'good choice'.

"For God's sake. . ." Vanessa muttered, once the two stopped their conversation so that they could get ready for the game as well as witnessing her brother's once brown eyes - identical to her own - turn into a now vibrant amber shade.

Vanessa turned her head to the side to see Lyida and Allison holding up a sign again but on this one it read 'JACKSON IS #1!'

"And it just got even worse." Vanessa whispered to Stiles, who looked at her in pure confusion.

It wasn't until his best friend pointed behind her to see his crush from the 4th grade and the new girl holding up the supportive Jackson sign. The two turned their attention to the teen wolf on the field, who didn't at all look pleased with Allison in particular for that decision.
