Ch 23 Training and A Big Meeting

The next morning Issei and the others got ready for the day and to everyone's surprise Tannin had returned. Issei said "what is the dragon from yesterday doing here?" Azazel said "he is going to train you Issei. Your main goal is to reach balance breaker state." Tannin said "this is the first time I will be training someone who wields Ddraig." Tannin then picked up Issei and he protested. Then Rias told him to suck it up and make sure he trained hard. Issei then realised that Rias is always wanting to get better.

Asia was training to see if she can heal people from a distance. Xenovia needed to control her sword and make sure that she can have stamina to continue the fight. Kiba was going to practice to keep his balance breaker out for as long has he needed. Koneko just had to train but she needed stop playing around with who she is. Akeno was training to use her lightning power that had been not using because she rejected her fallen angel side. She was then training with her father that she hates so much. Rias was learning to know when to fight and when to leave.

Issei was running and Tannin was blasting him with fire balls. Nick was watching and smiling as he knew that all this would benefit Issei if he just put his mind to it. Training went like this and Issei was improving his power but Nick knew that he needed something to kick start his balance breaker. Then it hit him. What was the one thing that Issei loves and then Nick put it in the back of his mind for later. Then at the end of his training a young man was also watching.

The young man said "I was hoping for better but you are still just a kid. I thought you would be stronger but you still haven't achieved balance breaker yet. Let me give you some word of advise. It takes real balls to be number one." Then he used his leg and cracks in the earth showed up. Nick then stepped in and said "so you want a fight? I will gladly fight you at any time any where." The young man said "so the darkness dragon is back. I've heard about your involvement of the alliance and I will say this if you can smoke out the devil that are working for the Khaos brigade I'm all for it."

Then the young man left and Issei and Nick were left together. Nick then turned into his dragon form and said "Issei get on my back and I will fly us home." Issei said "really I have never ridden on a dragons back before." They then went back to the Gremory house. Issei then went to take a shower and he had heard from Rias that Koneko had hurt herself while working out. Issei saw Koneko's room and then went inside to see her. He then saw that Koneko had cat ears. 

Rias then appeared and told the story about two cat sisters that were taken in and that one of the two sisters had a chance at a good life. But the sister killed her master and left the sister to fight for herself. Then Koneko awoke and then they were told that a meeting was going to happen and they needed to be at their best because from what Nick has seen it looks like the Khaos brigade was going to make a move.

They then got ready for the meeting and Nick was dressed up very nice. Nick was also walking next to Akeno holding hand as they walked. Issei got Rias' attention and pointed this out and Rias smiled at this. Then they heard in the young devil's waiting room two devils arguing. Nick looked at Rias and said "would you like me to get these two to stop fighting or should we get someone else?" Then the man that Issei saw when he was training say "I'll take care of this." Nick and Rias said "thank you Sairaorg." Issei now had a name to a face.

Nick said "I have to go and meet up with the other higher ups for now but I will be keeping an eye open for you guys." Nick then kissed Akeno on the check and left. Rias then walked over to Akeno and started to walk with her and talk about what just happened. Then a bang happened and Sairaorg had dealt with the misbehaving devils. Then a familiar person had appeared. It was Ravel and she was looking around. Ravel said "hello red dragon emperor I am here also for the party." Issei said "there is no need for you to call me the red dragon emperor, just call me Issei."
