Ch 32 The Pieces are Moving

After Issei had rescued Rias and Akeno and Rossweisse had rescued Nick things were looking up for everyone. The sports festival was happening, and Nick was the only one not allowed to compete because of how unfair he would make things. But Nick and Azazel were talking about that had just transpired. Nick knew that this group that had just taken over him was not as powerful as previous thought, but Nick had just gained a new ability from this, and it was a big one. Azazel was interested in this newfound ability. 

Nick said "I have the ability now of foresight and I see a new power rising. This power is one that I have seen before because this new threat will not be coming to destroy us but to prove that this people belong in our world." Azazel said, "do you know which group this is?" Nick said "yes, the Hero faction is making this move but I don't fear this group but then again they do have the holy spear." Azazel said, "why don't you fear the spear?" Nick said "this information was lost years ago but I killed the user of the spear when he killed Jesus. I also know that none of the forms or his balance breaker can pierce me."

Azazel said, "how is that possible if the spear can pierce a god, then how are you any different?" Nick said "over the years I have been looking for a way to stop from be damaged but the only way that happens is if you train your body. I also have a new ace up my sleeve that will make the Hero faction does not have hard to beat for myself." Azazel said, "well it is very fortunate that we have someone like you on our side."

Nick smiled and said "keep this to yourself for the moment. I believe this current spear Hero has achieved the full balance breaker status. So, we must proceed with caution the spear is the most powerful of the Longinus. I think it is time for me to take up the mantle and become who I was born to be. I was created to the successor of great red and Orphis. Now I will prove myself and become the hero of not only the underworld but the human world as well."

So, Azazel and Nick went back to the sports festival and watched as both Asia and Issei get first place in the three-legged race. Nick was impressed by both Asia and Issei's performance. Kiba and Koneko were smiling at them as this happened. Akeno was smiling as well. Rosseweisse had now become a teacher at the school, and she was glowing because for the first time in her life she had a boyfriend. Nobody could know that Nick was dating not only Akeno but Rosseweisse as well. When everything was over the gang went to the ORC and Rias was happy as could be.

Nick got up and said "I have an announcement to make. I have been doing some thinking and it is time for me to become the ultimate dragon in the world. When I was born, I was created to inherit the throne. I am going to use my powers to protect you all and if any of you were to have harmed them I myself will do everything in my power to avenge you. I have also come to the realization that Issei is the strongest among you and I will give him this." Nick handed a bottle filled with black liquid.

Rosseweisse said "what is that?" Nick smiled and said "it is my blood, and it has been amplified by Azazel to become just as useful as a phoenix tears. It also has a power to give the user lost stamina but only use it as a last resort Issei." Issei said, "why now do you need to become the ultimate dragon now." Nick said "I have seen a new power rising and I fear that not only will our three factions be involved but others as well. That being said I need both Akeno and Rosseweisse to meet me in my room tonight if that would be possible."

Akeno smiled and said "I would love to join you." Rosseweisse on the other hand was puffing out smoke from her head. Everyone was laughing at this. Then Nick said "it is nothing to worry about Rosseweisse. I just plan on giving my girls some information about what the future holds. Rias I believe that you have something to share with Issei as well." Rias said "yes, Issei you will be coming with me to the underworld to do some things that my brother would like you to attend."

So, Issei and Rias left and Rosseweisse and Akeno got to Nick's room and entered. Rosseweisse said "is it ok for me to go into a man's bedroom?" Akeno said, "it is fine Rosseweisse, Nick has never gotten aggressive with me yet, but I hope one day he does." Nick said "don't give me ideas Akeno. Well, I'm glad you are both here. Now I have to give you both things that will help in your growth as a devil." Akeno said, "what would that be?" Nick said, "I have to come to the realization that both of you are going to be targets for the enemy and I wanted to give you two this."

Nick handed them a shirt that looked like any other shirt but then it gleamed in the light. Nick said "these shirts are able to protect all physical and magical attacks. But it will not block all attacks, but they should be able to protect you and save your life without my intervention." Both girls put on the shirts and smiled at this. Rosseweisse said "it feels like a part of you Nick is with me always and I will cherish this always." Nick smiled and gave both girls a peck on the cheek. They all then went downstairs.

Rias and Issei were back and the next day they all met up at the ORC. Issei had done a kids tv show and was playing a dragon called the grabbin dragon and everyone found this funny. To make matters more interesting is that Issei was now loved by all the kids in the underworld. Kid thought that he was cool, and Issei was now known as the grabbin dragon. Nick smiled at this and knew that Issei would be a great leader in the future. Nick went to bed in the night and was plagued by the holy spear. Nick had not been one hundred percent truthful about Nick's condition to the spear and nobody but him knew the truth.
