Ch 8 Engagement Crashers

Issei awoke from his unconscious state and tried to get up. Nick was in the room and said "don't try to get up Issei you need your strength." Issei said "what happened?" Nick said "Rias quit the moment that your life was going to end by Riser's hand. I also want to apology to you for not being able to fight with you. I got caught up in my frenzy that winning the rating game was not in my thoughts." Issei said "so Rias is going to marry that dirty bag and we will never see her beautiful smile again."

Nick said "there is another way for you to get stronger but it comes with a cost." Issei said "I'll do it. If it means taking on the whole world them I will gladly take them on. Rias' smile means more to me than all my porn magazines. She maybe my master but her nobody make Rias cry." Nick said "good your resolve is good and I think it is time for you to become a powerful dragon now." Issei said "what do you mean." Then his boosted gear activated and Ddraig said "what he is say is if you give up your left arm you can have the red dragon emperor's power for a count down of 10."

Issei was shocked by this but knew that the only way to save Rias is to make the deal. So he agreed. Then Asia showed up and hugged Issei and said that she was worried about him. Issei then showed her that the sacrifice that Issei had made by picking up a cross that Asia still had. Issei took it and was ready to crash a engagement. Issei said "how are we getting there?"

Nick smiled and Grayfia appeared in the doorway and said "I was give this magical circles that Sirzechs wanted me to give to the two of you. He believes that the rating game was not as good has it should have been but he wants to see if you are willing to fight one more time to prove that. Nick I know that you are a powerful person so he wants to see you personal and talk about the future of your life and being with the devils." Both of them took the circles and used them and they were transported to the engagement that they just needed to crash.

Meanwhile the rest of the ORC were dressed up for this sad moment in their lives. Rias was in the dressing for this and she was still thinking about Issei and how he wouldn't give up even if he was going to die because of it. Rias then walk out of the dressing room and was greeted by the guest that where high ranking devils. Riser then introduced her and the crowd was clapping cheerfully. Then the guards in the room were pushed back and Rias saw Issei and Nick were fighting and getting close to them. Then the rest of the ORC got involved and all the guards were taken care of.

Then a guest said "lord Riser is this your doing?" Then another man spoke and his hair was a crimson as blood. A group of people said "it is the great devil king Lucifer." He said "I have arranged this because I felt that all people should be given a chance at hope. Riser your rating against my sister all was a disappointment to me. I thought that being the red dragon and his friend here would allow you to show that your strength was still good."

Riser said "the end results are all that count my lord." Sirzech said "I will allow you to fight but if this young devil wins I will give him anything he wants." The cround said "I gift from the great devil king to lowly devil is unheard of." Sirzech said "your king has spoken and he will get his prize I am the one who has asked this of him. So red dragon what do you want?" Issei said "I want Rias Gremory and I will not lose this time." Sirzech said "very well let this battle commence."

Both Issei and Riser where placed in a battle arena and they were ready to fight. Rias said "no don't fight Issei this is my command." Issei said "I repect that but I want to fight and there is no way I am backing down." Riser said "good I will burn you and take Rias as my own." Issei said "I will give anything to save Rias and I will see her smile once more." Nick said to Sirzech "so this will be the fate of Rias Gremory and the Red Dragon Emperor." Sirzech said "the day we have peace will be a day for all to smile." 

The battle started. Riser smiled and took flight with his Phoenix wings. Issei said "it is time to make an upgrade. This is my last chance. Promotion to Queen." Riser said "it is no use." Issei said "die. I don't have the skill like Kiba. I don't posses the strength of Koneko. I don't posses the magic that Akeno has. I don't have the ability to heal like Asia. I don't have the slightest idea of what Nick is or what he wants but he fights for friends and I see now that he is the one who is going to show me the door to a new world."
