Ch 11 The Church's Search

Xenovia said to Irina "no killing do you understand me Irina." Irina said "got it." Nick told Rias that if they hurt Issei and Kiba to a point would be in danger of being killed. So the battle began and Kiba used his sword birth and Xenovia said "sword birth and I see the red dragon emperor and twilight healing. You devil have an interesting group." Kiba began to laugh and Xenovia said "what is so funny." Kiba said "the one thing I want to destroy more than anything has appeared in front of my very eyes." 

Irina said "Issei it is really you. All I ever wanted was to learn how to be a holy sword user and help change the world." Issei said "well why are you wanting to fight me then?" Nick said "it is fine Issei this is a good test for you and maybe you can see her if you use your ability." Issei said "oh ya now that is what I am talking about." Koneko said "you better watch yourself girl. Issei has the ability to blow a woman's clothes off just by touching them."

Issei said "Koneko why are you give information to the enemy." Koneko said "because you are the enemy of all woman." Irina said "is it true Issei that you have become a sinful pervert." Issei then charged at Irina and he boosted enough to use his dress break and he tried and tried to touch her but her speed was better then Issei's speed. He then dived to get her and she got out of the way and he touched Koneko and Asia and when he hit the ground he had snapped his fingers. Then the two girls had their clothes blown away and Koneko knocked Issei and he was hurt.

Irina poked Issei with a stick and said "I think you have received divine punishment so give up on this move of yours." Issei said "not going to happen I put all my effort in this move of mine. I will grow stronger to the point that I can blow a girl's clothes by just thinking about it." Irina was shocked to hear this but she attacked him again and then Irina saw  Nick disappear and he was in front of Issei. Nick said "this duel is over." Issei said "not by a long shot." Then the pain kicked in. Irina had cut Issei and he was in a lot of pain.

Meanwhile Kiba was in full rage mode and Nick saw that he was letting his emotions get the better of him. Being the only survivor in an experiment that failed and seeing all the others die was painful but his anger was going to get the best of him. Kiba was attacking wildly and Xenovia could see this. She used her Excalibur to break his swords and he came again and with new swords but it was useless. Then Xenovia hit Kiba and knocked him to the ground. Nick walked over to Kiba and said "that is enough Kiba you are not strong enough to face an Excalibur yet."

Kiba then tried to get up but Xenovia said "you are a good swordsmen but you let your emotion get the better of you." Rias then said "ok you may do your search of the sword now ladies but remember that I will not give you aid is that clear." Both girls took their leave and Kiba walked away without say a word. Asia was healing Issei and Akeno was shocked to see Rias allow them to hurt Issei and let it go.

Kiba then took his leave and they were all going to go home when Nick asked to speak to Akeno. Nick said "hey Akeno if you are not doing anything this weekend would you like to see a movie and get dinner with me?" Akeno said "are you asking me out on a date?" Nick looked at her and blushed and said "yes I am." Akeno looked at him and said "I would love to go on a date with you. So what movie would you like to see?" Nick said "whatever you want to see will be good with me."

So the weekend came and Nick met up with Akeno and they went to see a movie. The movie that they went to see was Hobbit the Desolation of Smaug. Akeno enjoyed the movie at the end of the movie because the elf and a dwarf were in love with one another. After they got out of the movies they walked for a while. Nick said "did you know that dragons are not like that here in our world compared to Smaug and his love of gold." Akeno said "I didn't know that and I find you more interesting by the day." 

Akeno said "the fact that two people from hated factions were able to find common ground is heartwarming." Nick said "I believe that if you wish for something and you put in the work that you will se results. Take my ability that I used on the church girls that I can create shadows from their shadows in something that took years to master." Akeno smiled and said "maybe one day I can learn to use lightning." Nick said "you will and I will be there for you and I will be happy to let go of the hurt in your heart." 

When they got to the restaurant Akeno was surprised that Nick had taken her to such a nice place. They both ate and had a good time. Nick told stories of the time he traveled the world when he was young. He said that it was hard to find a place in this world but now that he had Akeno in his life he felt that he could finally move on from his past and look to the future. After dinner Nick and Akeno walked to her house.

While on the walk Akeno said "Nick how did you become so strong?" Nick said "well I was gifted with a lot of ability's. But when my mother left me I fought to keep myself from going insane. Every time I made a friend they would leave me but when I met Issei he was different and he is a true friend. He has shown me that there is some good in this world and it is worth fighting for." Akeno smiled at him and said "you have been in a lot of pain and I know that you have suffered far more than me so let he heal you a little."

Akeno walked up to Nick and kissed him on the lips. Nick didn't expect that but he put passion into the kiss. Akeno did the same and they both were happy. After the kiss they looked at one another and Akeno said "I want you to know that you are not alone anymore Nick I will walk down this road with you. I see the hurt in your eyes but when I see you have joy in your eyes I get a wonderful feeling so I will fight along side you."

They arrived at her house and she gave him a kiss on the cheek and she left Nick outside. Nick had felt that he had finally been able to let go of the past. He walked home not knowing that his past was still coming to get him. A plan was in motion to start the war again and Rias and Sona were going to be the ones to either stop this war or see that the war continues.
