The next couple of days were crazy because Asia had moved into Issei's house and their parents were very happy about it. Asia also got to be in Kuoh academy and is in the same class as Issei and Nick. Nick, Issei, and Asia walked to school together but Nick tried his best to give Asia alone time with Issei so they could develop a more meaningful relationship. Nick knew what was going to happen but his question was when and how powerful they will be when they come. The three of them got to class and were happy as could be.
The day went by and Asia was doing well with the transition going into school. Then the perv duo were pissed that Issei had a stone cold fox living with him and the girls were telling Asia to keep her guard up on Issei. Nick was thinking about what he had learned by the Fallen Angels raid and he knew that one day that this information will prove to be helpful. The days went by and Nick was learning more and more about devil life and how they are using humans like every other group to survive.
About a week went by after the Fallen Angel business went down and Nick was still keeping the Gremory group safe. Nick then talked to Koneko and said "Koneko is it ok if we train together over the weekend if you are free?" Koneko said "sure but no perv stuff ok. If you get perv on me I will make you suffer." Nick agreed to not try anything but they would meet early in the morning on Saturday. So the weekend came and Nick met Koneko and they went behind the ORC to train. Nick and Koneko sparred for about five hours and Koneko could see that he was a strong person.
Koneko said "how did you get so strong?" Nick said "I trained myself and I was at one point trying to impress my mother so that she would take me back but she never did." Koneko said "what is your mother like?" Nick said "I only knew her for about five years then she abandoned me because I reminded her of my father. So she threw me a way like trash and I will never forget that feeling ever." Koneko said "I'm sorry that your mother never loved you but I never had that feeling of having a mother."
Nick looked at Koneko and said "lets forget the past and look forward to the future and create the world that we desire." Koneko smiled and then her stomach made a sound and Nick said "lets take a break and eat something because I'm hungry to." So the both of them went to this café and Koneko ate a lot of sweets. Nick didn't mind and was having fun with Koneko and she was smiling at Nick and he knew she was having fun. Nick then paid for the food and they went back to the ORC to burn off the food they ate.
After lunch Nick and Koneko went back to the ORC and trained for the rest of the day. Nick helped Koneko learn new ways to make her enemies submit and Nick learned to how use his fists in different ways. Nick and Koneko were smiling as they both used their power to fight one another. Nick seemed to be stronger, faster, and better defense than Koneko but that didn't matter to Koneko because she was trying to get stronger as well.
They stopped fighting Koneko said "what is driving you to that made you become our protector?" Nick said "I made a promise to an old friend and I made him the promise that I need to protect the next Red Dragon Emperor and I thought that I could also protect the Gremory house as well." Koneko said "so why are you training me and everything?" Nick said "because I know things that others do not and that power gives me a chance to change that and create a future that is to come."
Koneko said "if you know so much then why are you trying not to stop the future?" Nick said "I see only a glimpse of the future. What I saw was not a future I wanted to see and I made up my mind to make the new Red Dragon Emperor the most powerful on of all that didn't want to destroy everything." Koneko looked at Nick with a different light because he is trying to change the fate of the dragon of domination. Nick smiled at Koneko and they saw that the sun was going down and they called it a day and they both went separate way and Nick knew that Koneko had gotten stronger.
