A week later

"What's my husband doing ?" I messaged him.
" Missing my wife so much 🙁"
" Aww I miss you too baby I just want to come home and give you a tight hug " I replied as today he's home and I'm at my workplace. I'm enjoying what I'm doing but really missing him.
" Come pick me up today at 6 "
" Always ready " he replied

" Hey , Sofia right ?" Someone questioned pulling me out of the thoughts.
" Yeah " I nodded with a smile.
" I'm Noah " he smiled bringing his hand forward.
" Nice to meet you Noah " I shook hands with him.
" You're new here if I'm not wrong ?" He questioned
" Yes I just joined last week" I smiled and he nodded.
" Wanna hang out after work ?" He asked.
" Don't try on her she's married " lexa said walking to us . She works with me , a beautiful woman who is in her thirty's I guess.
" Married at such a young age " Noah said
" Married at such a young age but I'm happy " I nodded.
" It doesn't matter to me by the way so still wanna hang out , I mean we are friends now it's okay to hang out with your friends " he said
" Sure " I smiled
" Okay then meet me at 6 sharp here only " he said
" Ya I'll be here " I smiled and he walked to his office.

At 6
" Oh god I forgot to tell Shawn not to come " I whispered to myself and called Shawn.
" Yeah babe " he finally answered.
" Shawn actually I'll be late so I'll come home myself okay " I said
" Why ?" He questioned so direct.
" I'll tell you when I'm home " I said. I didn't have time to explain him everything and especially to explain him about Noah.
" Sofia I'm already about to reach your building okay " he sounds annoyed.
" Shawn but I'll be late "
" Just tell me the fucking reason " he yelled. This guy is soo short tempered.

" Let's go " Noah said and I nodded.

" I've some work to do " I hung up the call.
No no no I shouldn't have done this oh god what have I done , should I call him but he'll be mad at me. Oh god!
" What happen ?" Noah questioned
" Actually Noah I don't think I'll be able to come with you today I'm really sorry , I'm literally very sorry " I said and he nodded
" It's okay we'll go some another day " he smiled and I smiled back

SHAWN'S POV
How the fuck can she hung up on me ? What does she think I'm,  first she told me to pick her up and now she's saying that she'll be late and not even telling me the fucking reason. I swear this woman is crazy.
I rushed out of the car without even parking it and walked inside her office building.

" Oh my god! Mr Mendes " a woman started following me as she recognised who I'm.
" I'm lexa , actually sir my boss was dying to meet you thank god you're here " she said following me.
" Can you just tell me where Sofia is ?" I shouted because of her irritating behaviour.
" So-Sofia " she slurred.
" Did I say anything else ?"
" Sir she has gone out with her friend " she replied
" What friend ?" I asked
" Umm umm with Noah "
" Take me to her right now " I shouted and she took me to her office to check if she's still there.

SOFIA'S POV
" Thanks for understanding Noah " I smiled and turned back to see Shawn aggressively rushing towards me. His gaze turned to Noah and I knew what he's gonna do.
" Shawn stop " I said coming in between Noah and Shawn.
" This is the work you do here " he shouted on me.
" Shawn everyone is watching us please don't shout " I say slowly.
" I don't fucking care " he shouted making me jump.
" Shawn please let's just go home and talk , please " I said holding his hand .
" You stay away from my wife it's a warning " he shouted at Noah for the last time and I dragged him out.
" Sir can you please stay I've called my boss, please Mr Mendes please " lexa followed Shawn while he ignored her. I don't know why she's behaving this way with Shawn but it's not a right time to think about it.

I opened the car door and pushed him inside while I sat on the passenger's seat.
" Let's please just go home first " I said
" I'm not going home before you tell me everything, who's that guy and you hung up on me because of that asshole" he said
" Shawn it's my workplace you can't just create a scene like this in public" I said tears forming in my eyes.
" You lied to me " he slammed his hand on the stairing wheel.
" Noah was very polite with me he just asked to have a coffee with me ,  I wanted to go home but I wasn't able to refuse him " I replied
" You could have simply told me that you're going out with a friend " he shouted
" But I know how you are I knew it is going to happen I even said no to Noah but then -
" Don't give me these silly excuses right now " he shouted and started the car.
" You're not coming for work from tomorrow " he ordered
" No , no you can't do that you can't stop me " I yelled.
" I already said that " he replied
" Do your regular work at home do your chores I'll pay you for it " he said
" What ! What do you think I'm , I'm not your servant Shawn " I shouted.
" You know what I should have gone with Noah then dealing with someone like you " I yelled and he clenched his jaw looking straight to the road.

He slammed the car door and walked inside the house and straight to his office room locking himself inside.
I know my words hurt him and I know he's not wrong , I'm the one who's wrong I lied to him without any reason.

" Shawn " I knocked on his office door
" Please open the door " I say softly.
" Please I want to talk to you "
" I'm sorry for what I did I know I did wrong " I cried sitting down on the floor facing the door.
" I lied to you I'm sorry " I said and he opened the door and stood in front of me.
I got up and walked inside behind him.
" I'm not wrong every time Sofia but you do things that force me to do wrong " he said crossing his arms .
" I'm sorry Shawn " I cried.
" I don't have words for you , I can't see you cry like this but - " he stopped.
" I know what I did was wrong I know myself " I cried.
" Tell me what I should do with you " he said walking closer and I moved back scared of the anger in his eyes.
" I'll not do this again I swear on god " I said.
" YOU ARE NOT GOING FOR WORK FROM TOMORROW " he said and walked out.
