Marinette yawned loudly. She was in the middle of getting ready for school and flipped the news on.
Tikki alerted her attention to the broadcast. "Marinette! Look!"
She looked at the TV. "Akuma?" Her jaw dropped. "No!" She gasped. Her face turned bright red. How on earth did someone take a picture up there? They were on top of the Eiffel Tower!

Marinette wanted to crawl under a rock and never come out. Now she was going to have to explain why she lied about how she got him out of the spell. Although, he could probably guess it was due to embarrassment. She was already flustered about finally confessing her love to him, even though he didn't remember it.
It was the first time she said it out loud and confirmed her feelings. She wondered how close the photographer was when they took that photo. Did they hear anything she said to him? She brushed the idea away. It was so windy up there. There was no way they could have.
Her thoughts spun around causing her to plop down onto her desk chair. She had determined she was in love with him. Did she want to tell him that and risk ruining their relationship right now?
What is our relationship right now? She felt her pulse quicken and a giddy lump form in her throat. They had slept in the same bed, she held him when he cried, they had already kissed twice, and he protected her against André and let her cry into his chest. Were these things friends would do too? At some point, they should probably clarify that. She thought maybe it should wait until Hawk Moth was defeated for good.
Her phone buzzed on her desk, making her jump. Félix's name popped up on her screen and her heart lurched. He knows!
Félix Thought you were going to get to keep that secret, huh?
Marinette I mean... yes! I had to break the spell!
Marinette jumped onto her bed and screamed into her pillow. Her phone vibrated again. It was Alya this time.
