The Heart Of The Sea

My heart is what controls the sea,

It calms the storms, It controls the waves,

All from a box berried deep within.

I threw my heart into the sea,

It soon began to control the seas.

I had no control over my heart,

It always seemed to break apart.

Now it's no longer inside my chest,

It beats stronger every day.

My heart draws me to the ocean,

Hoping to see me again.

We both have a better understanding,

I can't bare to take my heart back.

To feel the pain and sadness

And to have it break once again.

But one day we will reunite.

Just like the waves and sand,

We will greet another again.
