You find your self locked away,
Isolated from the world for another day.
You try and find some things to do,
But what else is there to do?
You've done the cleaning, You've done the cooking,
You've done the work you set yourself,
Now what's left that you can do.
You take a seat and look out the window,
Wondering how the world can be so close,
But yet feel so far away.
You sit by your window watching time past by,
You'll be lucky if you see someone walk by.
Isolated away from the world,
Isolated away from the people you love.
spending your days from here on out,
Staring out the window,
Wondering if there will be a tomorrow.
Author's Note- From me to you all over the world. I for one know how it feels to be isolated away from the world. I just want to tell you that it's going to be okay. I know you may be isolated away but you don't have to be alone. You can call the people you love, do a face time party where everyone can join in. If you feel you are starting to suffer from Isolation and it is impacting your mental health please reach out to a friend and family member. I wish you all well and wish you good luck.
