A person can be broken,
Without you even knowing.
A person can be hurting,
Even through the tears aren't forming.
A heart it may be breaking,
But they may have a smile on their face.
You never know what a persons feeling,
They may be feeling sad inside
But you wouldn't know.
They spend all of their day,
With a fake smile on their face.
Trying to pretend they're okay,
Trying to pretend they're not hurting.
But they can't change the truth,
And they can't hide their feelings
Because soon enough they'll only end up breaking.
