Dear diary,
The new year started with a blast, pun intended. We woke up to terrifying noises. There had been a carevess, it is quite normal in the areas covered with the iceberg, we can only hope that it leaves minimum damage. We didn't expect it to last this long. Taehyung said sometimes the ice gets tired of its rigidness and decides to melt, it is a pity we blame them for that rather than appreciating how long they have been mighty. His words couldn't have been more correct, it's the heat that melted the ice now how can we blame the ice for it? The carevess lasted for more than just a while, which raised concerns. We were cautious as to not step out until it had succumbed. After inspecting the hazard Taehyung had told me that it might occur again and evacuation is needed. My heart sunk to the bottom on hearing that. We will have to leave this all behind? Taehyung has been busy all day with gathering and organising the data that we have collected. It feels like he is keeping himself occupied just so he can avoid all the thoughts of leaving this place. I am not ready for this, not yet and never will be.
