Dear diary,
It's Christmas month, back at home they would be busy with the preparations, it must be snowing there. I wonder if they would be missing me, or would it just be like any other Christmas. Would it be like when I was in boarding school? Me getting to know through the letters that my little sisters have been busy all day making the crib, mother making my favorite pudding, or Catherine, the eldest of my little sisters, will be playing Mother Marie in our church play yet another year. I later got them to tell me every anecdote when I was away. I love how my sisters burst out into a fit of laughter in the middle of the story and never finish them. I miss them dearly, I long to hear their laughter. But I have to be the next man in the family, I have to study in a prestigious college, get a reputable degree and look after my family. One of the rides I looked forward to as a kid was when my father used to take me to the town to buy stars. He used to say that count up to a hundred stars and the lord will grant you a wish. Now I don't know if he just said that to cut my chatter, but I still believe in them so I counted 100 stars in the night sky today and made a wish. I hope the laughter never dies down.
Night
