She waited patiently, silently, for the guard to walk closer to the window. "What the devil happened here...?" Mirabella heard him mutter.
As soon as she heard him step on the broken glass, she suddenly swung through the window she had broken.
The guard was kicked to the ground and quickly silenced. Mirabella let out a quiet whistle, and Claudio climbed through the window after her.
The two of them slowly made their way up the stairs, eyeing the guards that stood in the corners. Merda.
She took out a throwing knife slowly, eyeing the cell she intended to reach. Both Assassins remained low to the ground as they approached, however Mirabella stopped when a guard walked out.
In a panicked moment she threw her knife, sighing in relief when he crumpled to the ground. "Wot?!" Quickly, Mirabella and Claudio entered the cell, and Thomas stumbled away from them.
"Lass...." he mumbled in shock. Her Blade was unsheathed, making him freeze. "This is not a social call, messere," she hissed.
Thomas swallowed nervously, eyeing Claudio. "It's, uh...been a long time," he commented awkwardly. "I do not care - why do you plan on murdering George Washington? What do you plan on doing with my son now that you have had him arrested?"
Thomas was taken aback by her interrogation, and he gasped. "Your son? Wit' the big man 'imself?" Mirabella remained stern, her gaze never wavering.
"Answer the questions." Claudio stepped forward, standing next to Mirabella. "I...I don't know." At that, Claudio lunged and grabbed Thomas harshly.
"I-I'm serious! I don't know nuffin'!" he protested, struggling against Claudio. "Bugiardo! (You liar!)" the boy spat, unsheathing his Blade.
"Lascialo andare, Claudio. (Let him go, Claudio.)" The boy turned when Mirabella spoke, and after a moment's hesitation, he shoved Thomas away.
"Perché mostrargli misericordia? Un Templare? (Why show him mercy? A Templar?)" Claudio hissed, his teeth clenched.
Mirabella didn't answer, and she kept her gaze on Thomas. "If you had no interest in the Templar Order, why would you join them, Thomas?" she asked, shaking her head.
Thomas just shrugged a shoulder, looking to the side. "I needed money, they 'as it," he said simply. Mirabella frowned at him, sighing in disappointment.
"I thought you were better than this, Thomas," she said, turning to leave. "Oh ye? Ain't good enough compare to Hay'fam?"
Mirabella froze, her eyes widening as her fists clenched. "Yah, you was always paddin' after 'im, now look what 'appened. Picks a lil' forest girl o'ver you."
She then whipped around and immediately punched Thomas hard, and he collapsed with a hard thud. "Bastardo."
She stormed out, heading back to the window with her head down. "Mentore." Mirabela glanced over her shoulder at Claudio. "Were you involved with the Templars?"
She stopped in front of the window, her shoulder slumping. "Years ago, ragazzo, when I was young and naïve. Not anymore." Before she climbed out, she faced Claudio, who looked at her in shock.
"I am still your Mentor, no matter what, and I expect the same amount of respect from you," she said with a sharp tone. I need to assert my dominance - I am an Assassin, no matter what.
