Ch. 14
"Oh my God, I'm so excited! I can't believe you could do this," Daniela squealed as they drove to the venue.
"Eh, no big deal," she said, turning onto the road the venue was on. There were hundreds of girls lined up outside the gates, hoping to catch a glimpse of the boys. Charlotte pulled over on the side of the road, not pulling into the parking lot, as it was guarded by security. She pulled out her phone and called Michael.
"Hey, we're here... No, I had to pull over on the side of the road a little ways down... Okay... Cool, we'll be here... Thanks so much... Bye."
"Was that Michael?" Daniela asked eagerly, making Charlotte roll her eyes.
"Yes, Dani, that was Michael. He's gonna talk to security so they'll let us in, since we don't have technical tickets. It was more of an invitation," she explained. The three friends heard screams erupt from inside the gates, meaning Michael was on his way. Daniela shrieked when she saw Michael's bright red hair come to talk to the guards. He waved the gang over to the gates and they pulled in. Michael walked back to the gates that let the fans into the arena and waited inside them so he could let Charlotte and her friends into the concert area early.
"Hey, Michael, thanks for inviting us," Charlotte said, hugging the red-haired boy once they got past all the screaming fans and into the venue.
"Thanks for coming! It's so weird that we just ran into each other this afternoon after not having seen each other in like, five years," he said, leading them to the dressing room area.
"Yeah, crazy," Charlotte said. She felt Daniela grab her hand and claw into it tightly, obviously freaking out about being in the same area and having a casual conversation with her favorite band. "Oh, I'm sorry, Michael, this is my friend Christian and that's my friend Daniela."
"Hi," Michael said, waving slightly.
Charlotte took her hand from Daniela's and leaned up to Michael's ear, whispering, "Daniela's a huge fan, so I'm just going to apologize in advance for anything that happens."
Michael laughed as they entered the large dressing room that contained a large table covered in food and three boys, two of which were shirtless, sitting on a black couch and playing Green Day very loudly through some speakers on the walls. Charlotte chuckled as she heard Daniela take a deep breath to try and contain herself.
"Who's this, Michael?" the blond one, obviously Luke, asked.
"This is my really good friend Charlotte, and these are some of her friends. They're our special guests for tonight," Michael said, grabbing a piece of pizza from the food table.
"Charlotte... Oh my God," Calum said, inhaling quickly and choking on his popcorn.
Charlotte laughed, "Hi, Calum. Long time, no see."
Once he could breathe again, he got up and ran to hug her. She wrapped her arms around his bare torso as he held her as tightly as he could.
"I never thought I'd see you again," he whispered.
"Well, here I am," she replied, making him chuckle.
"I'm sorry," Calum said, as he let go of her.
Charlotte looked at him, confused. "For what?"
"For cutting you out of my life four years ago," he said and Charlotte softly smiled. "If it makes a difference, it was a stupid decision. That girl broke up with me two weeks later."
"Oh, I'm sorry," she told him. He laughed.
"Nah, it's no big deal. To be honest I forgot about her like, two days after it happened," he shrugged and Charlotte laughed.
"Hey, guys, you have to come out for sound check," a guy dressed in all black with a headset on said as he poked his head through the dressing room door. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had friends here. But we need to go."
"Okay, can you give us like two minutes?" Ashton said as the man nodded and left. The guys quickly put on shirts and grabbed their ear pieces while Charlotte, Christian, and Daniela stood and waited. Michael led them out to where they would be sitting, and the three of them stayed in their spots during sound check and the concert, screaming the lyrics along with the band and the thousands of girls in the audience.

omg i'm sorry this is a day late but i was barely at home yesterday and i was sick so when i got home i went straight to bed
i'm also sorry this chapter is pretty boring, but a lot of drama is coming up in the next chapter ;)
