Shailene Point of ViewI wake up but I keep my eyes closed. I smile and stretch across the bed, but it soon disappears when I realise I'm in bed alone. I open my eyes and confirmation hits me.
He's not there. I cannot believe this. Last night meant so much to me, and I though it had to him too. That's what I get for being foolish and thinking that he really wanted me.
I sigh with relief when the bathroom door opens and Theo walks out with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. His hair is glistening with water.
He stands in the doorway and stares at me. "What?"
I smile and shake my head. "I just thought you left. Glad you didnt though."
He smiles again and I can feel everything insde me going weak. That's the effect he has on me.
"Why would I leave?" he questions and comes over to the bed. The matress dips with his weight. He's shirtless obviously.
I look down, not wanting to look him in the eyes. "Second thoughts?"
He places a hand on my cheek and guides my face to look at him. "That's crazy talk. Don't be rediculous. It was awesome."
I laugh and he joins in. He leans in and places his lips on mine. We kiss for a while but eventually I pull away.
I get up out of bed but he lies down on the bed, with the towel still around him. He lies on his side and props his head up watching me as I get dressed quickly. I still have a full apartment to clean up.
"Theo, seriously, get up."
He shakes his head. "Nope. Im protesting."
I chuckle. "On what grounds?"
He ponders for a minute. I throw on a pair of ugg boots. "You not completely satisfying me."
My head shoots up. Grinning, I say "Really? Well, according to the sounds you were making last night, that's not true."
That takes him by surprise. "Get dressed." I say. I unlock the door and leave before he can say anything else.
I freeze in my living room when I walk in. Shit. It looks worse than a pig sty. I look around and realise that everyone has left, even the ones who were still passed out only a few short hours ago.
I start with collecting the bottles, and manage to fill up two full trash bags. After what seems like forever Theo emergges from the bedroom dressed in the same clothes as the day before.
"Holy shit," he says examining his surroundings. "I-" Theo gets cut off by his cell phone ringing. "Son of a bitch."
I frown wondering what caused his to react that way. But I don't want to be too clingly so I walk into the kitchen and leave him to answer his phone call. He talks angrily on the phone but I block it out completely. If it's important, he'll tell me.
He rejoins me in the kitchen. "I have to leave. My publicist said she urgently needs to talk to me."
"You're only saying that so you can get out of having to help me clean."
When he answers it's obvious that whatever the phone call was about has chaged his mood since this morning. "I wish, I really have to go."
I nod and we walk to the front door together.
I reach behind him to pull his face down to meet mine and I press my lips to his. He kisses me back softly, his hands brushing down my neck, over my shoulders, down my arms. It's me who eventually pulls back.
"Call me," I tell him before he leaves.
He smiles at me and I can feel myself melting on the inside. "I promise."

He lied.
FINALLY I UPDATED. I blame music for making me take this long. Let me know what you think!!

RomansaIt was obvious to everyone that Theo James wasn't the same during the insurgent press tour in comparison to the one the year previous. He seems sad and more tired, but why? Because he's in love. And love is never easy.
