Now Raven had not exactly been properly introduced to Seth's crewmen aboard their ship. In fact, besides the man who had tossed her down in the prison cell, she had not come to see any man besides him. Personally she had preferred things that way, since she was in no way interested in getting to know anymore pirates.

Unfortunately, fate seemed to have other plans in mind.

Raven let out a nauseous groan as she began to stir from her slumber. Her stomach churned as she felt her whole body lurch to the right. She inhaled an oddly salty smell, reminding her very much of seawater.

In fact...

Raven forced her weary eyes open, gazing around at her surroundings curiously. A bed of soft pillows met her gaze first, followed by the image of a large glass window overlooking the sea.

Wh...at...?

A boat. She was on a boat! Again? But why was this her view when the white hot sandy beach had been her last memory! Well that and Se-

SETH! And his wretched crew! That rotten scoundrel!! He had kidnapped her again, him and those blasted band of men!

Raven sat up a bit further, getting a better view of her surroundings. She noticed that the room was a cabin, like one belonging to the ship captain. A shudder rang through her body, a truly terrible fear overtaking her. She jumped up and ran over to the window, gasping at the seaside view.

Damn! No way to escape now!

Angry tears welled up in her eyes. Just where was she? Why was Seth so determined to ruin her? To harm her even? Just what was she to do now? Where was she to go? How was she to survive? Had his promises truly been meaningless in the end!?

Raven sighed. She supposed there really was nothing she could do at this point. She was trapped, utterly and hopelessly trapped. By Seth of all people! Again...

Sank to the floor and curled up into a ball, feeling numb and helpless. She supposed it might be wise to save her tears, as they would accomplish nothing for the time being. So for a while she just sat there on the ground in silence, listening to the crashing waves and swaying with the boats movements. She wondered how the crew had salvaged this ship after being damaged by the storm weeks ago. She supposed they probably fixed it after landing on the island, using the materials available.

Raven sighed again. The sun was already setting, and her hunger wore away at her. She debated on exiting the cabin in search of food and to face her fate head on, but before she could even stand up, the door to the cabin turned from the outside.

Her breath caught in her chest, and anxiety filled her heart. She glanced up apprehensively, watching with rage as Seth himself came into the small room. Raven glared at him angrily from her spot on the floor, waiting to discern his cruel intentions.

He smirked her way, looking to be in a jolly old mood, as usual.

"Good to see you awake again princess. That feinting spell back on the beach had us worried sick."

Raven ground her teeth and suddenly stood up to face her tormentor.

"Why, because your play-thing might wear out? I am not a toy Seth! And I do not care what you or the rest of your pirate friends have planned, I SHALL NOT GIVE IN WITHOUT A FIGHT!" She screamed.

The man's green eyes betrayed confusion, then comprehension, followed by hurt.

"Ah, I see. No wonder you ran away back there. I thought it seemed strange, though I guess I deserved that accusation..." He mumbled, mostly to himself.

She scowled, feeling much too tired and hungry for any more games.

"Well you had better fetch me some water, else your cabin wench will die of thirst!" She grumbled angrily.

Seth chuckled lightly, giving her an oddly warm look full of sympathy. Then he carefully made his way over to where she stood, proudly glaring at him still.

"A cabin wench?"

Seth smiled again, looking wickedly amused by her spiteful banter.

"Well I guess I understand your confusion my dear. But for your information, I am apart of more than one crew, and one ship. Somedays I am a ruthless pirate lacky, and others I am an elite Naval officer."

Raven felt her face falter, confused by such absurd words. Then he grabbed her chin gently, and faced her to him.

"In wonder dearie, which man do you think you are facing today?"
