The young pirate that Raven met that day, the one who held her up at sword point, was yes, very handsome in her mind. As handsome as they come she was sure. His hair was dark blonde, his eyes a deep green color, and his smile quite charming and impressive. After an instant of conversation Raven felt her heart contemplating admiration, as silly as that sounded.

Ah, but that is when all the trouble truly began.

"Excuse us Sir, we are leaving." Raven said boldly.

The young pirate before her smirked a handsome smile that made her blush.

"But the fun is just beginning My Lady! Will you not join us?" He chuckled.

"Raven look!" Linda hissed in her ear.

She frowned and immediately gazed around, noticing the other men now advancing upon them.

"Now miss, we would prefer for the Governor's daughter to come along willingly if possible. So do not be afraid, we mean you both no harm." The young man cooed, advancing towards them slowly.

Raven scowled and glanced back to Linda who was whimpering with fear, as she rightly should be. Pirates? Trying to kidnap them? Yes, truly frightful! She also held no doubt that this man's claim of safety was an absolute lie. She could not even imagine what might happen to her dear sister should these men get away with her!

"Well sir, what shall you give me then to prove that you truly mean no harm to me this day?" Raven asked in a commanding voice.

The young pirate paused his movements to laugh, a most enjoyable sound to be heard.

"My, you are a feisty lady! I dare say, that is unexpected. But, who are you exactly?" He mused.

Raven held her head up high and spoke confidently like her sister always taught her to.

"I am the Governor's daughter, Linda, and this woman here is my adopted sister, Raven. I do care for her very much, and would wish for you to leave her, and everyone else here on this ship alone, in exchange for my cooperation. Does that sound agreeable sir?" She declared.

A few amused laughs circled them from the pirates surrounding the area, amused by her bargain. Then she watched as the young man came up and grabbed her by the chin. She flinched as he pulled her face up to gaze into her eyes with a look of fascination and interest.

"Well My Lady, you drive a fine bargain. I suppose, since we are indeed honorable men, that we shall take you up on this most interesting offer." He whispered softly.

Raven immediately felt Linda's hand grab her tightly from behind, though she knew her sister was much too nervous to try and stop her from taking the victim's place. She simply reached back and grabbed her hand in good-bye.

"Gather up your men and have them depart, then I shall accompany you as the last two to leave." Raven demanded nervously.

The young man chuckled again but shook his head.

"Sorry miss, no time for that."

Then Raven watched helplessly as he grabbed her waist and threw her up over his shoulder like a bag of rice. He turned and started running back towards his crew's ship, where she was promptly thrown into the arms of some waiting men with ropes. Raven tried to stay true to her deal of cooperation by not fighting back, but it was quite difficult with so many scoundrels taking liberties with her vulnerability at that moment. After a moment she was firmly bound up and gagged, and so eyed the young pirate who had sealed the bargain with her.

He smirked her way, looking both amused and impressed by her expectation. For a brief second Raven doubted her course of action, despite knowing it had been her only option in the end. However, her fears were put slightly at bay as the young man turned and let out a loud whistle, calling back all the rest of his crew with ease. Raven was then taken away from the scene, being dragged down deep into the belly of the boat as the ship began to set sail.

She was thrown into a dark cargo room that held one celled chamber. Then she was locked up and left alone, with only the faint glow of one lamp to keep her company.
