PIPER AND JAMES MADE IT to the school's exit, the blond asked if she wanted to walk around the city for a while, have a drink in the mall or maybe walk her to her house, as to continue their conversation of various themes. Piper agreed to have a drink with him, but since she actually had rush to do some school work, so they bought some snacks in the local city target and sat down in the parking lot, to then walk home
"Are you actually 6'6'?" Piper asked, popping the bag of chips open
"Yup, I was always a tall kid" He opened a can of soda to then sip it
"oof, I wish to be as tall as you, i'm just 5'6'"
"You still tall for being a teen girl, some people stay at 5'4''"
"Raven is 5'4''" Piper chuckled softly and so did her friend "My dad is like 5'11'' and my mum is like 5'7''-ish"
"I don't know how tall my parents are, but i'm taller than my dad for like 3 inches" Ranboo mentioned making Piper surprised "My siblings are pretty short tho"
"My siblings are average height" she crunched a chip in her mouth "i'm the middle child"
"I'm the oldest" James commented, drinking from his coca cola can "I have 1 sister who is 12 and a little brother who's 8"

"My brother's 19, and my sister's 14" Shay answered, standing up "I really should get going now James, it's already 4:30 and i have homework to do, i don't want to have raccoon eyebags" Piper pouted and then crouched to get her bag, stood firmly and looked down at the blond
"Which way?" He asked, mirroring Piper's actions as she pointed east "My house is that way too" he smirked and started walking with her.
As they continued to walk, around 15 minutes passed by without them noticing, their conversations could last hours since they were both interested in many topics and had a lot in common, making it easy for them to spend time together. Piper had to admit that walking with James was one of the things that made her happy. His voice made conversating with him entertainingins some way for her, and his expressions were everything.
"Welp, we're here" Piper stood in front of the blond as they were near the door of her house "it's my house"
"Yup" He smiled "Mine's like 2 blocks away"
"We don't live so far apart do we" Shay mentioned and they both giggled softly "Thanks for making me company"
"Anytime!" He raised his arms and smirked shyly "By the way, can I has you number" He said with terrible spelling making the girl laugh
"Yeah, sure" She took out her phone and Ranboo gave her his, so she could annotate it "There"
"There's something missing in your name"
"What is it?" She asked intrigued
"The smiley face" He typed next to her contact name 'Piper Shay :]' "see? It's better with the smiley face" he tried imitating the face
"Yeah, it is" She smiled "Oh" a notification from an unknown number popped up "It's you" Piper looked up to Ranboo's face, he nodded in response "then i shall save your number with a smiley face as well" They both smiled, Piper saved his number as 'James Ranboo :]'
"Today was a nice day, because i met you" Ranboo flirted "Miss Piper Shay" he took out his hand
Piper laughed as she extended her hand towards Ranboo "Indeed, Mr. Boo" they held hands for a second, to then let go after inevitably blushing hardly "I gotta go now, but i'll see you tomorrow in school"
"Yes sure, see ya" As he said this, he walked towards his house, waving to the girl who mirrored his action as she then opened her backpack to take the house's keys out.
Letting out a sigh, she entered the room with a smile on her face, letting her backpack drop to the ground as she walked upstairs to her room. As soon as she stepped on the last stair, her sister Lisa smiled Ina malicious way
"Well, who was that?" She asked smirking to her sister
"What? Who was who? I was alone" Piper laughed covering her mouth nervously
"Yeah right" Lisa rolled her eyes to Piper "you like him"
"Dude what the hell is wrong with you! I met him today, we're just friends" Piper sighed heavily and crossed her arms
"Sounds like a crush for me but ok" she stood up "I'm going to do some school work, I'll be in my room"
"Wait hold on, Peter isn't home yet?" Shay asked stopping her sister from leaving
"No, he said he had to work late tonight"
"Oh alright, thanks" Piper commented as Lisa went to her room and she did the same, walking upstairs and then stepping into her bedroom while closing the door behind her
