As Raven lazily got up their bed, Piper, James and Jasper met at their door, waiting for the redhead to open it. Not much time was wasted when they blinked and yawned softly as their hand took the handle and pulled it inside "welcome" Raven smiled letting their friends in and walked up to their room.
"So, are we still going to go trick or treating tomorrow?" Jasper asked sitting down on Raven's bed
"Yeah, i wanna scare kids" Raven laughed while doing the same thing, then laying on their back
"nope" Piper hit Raven in the head and laughed "You're too old to do that"
"Girl, you're too short to date Ranboo and i ain't saying shit" Raven scoffed and laughed, to then turn to see Piper and Ranboo's red face
"We-" Ranboo stuttered
"We are not dating" Piper punched Raven playfully "And there's not that much of a height difference, shut up" She scoffed "I'm taller than you"
"ok alright, fair enough" They got up and took Ranboo's hand "Can I paint them black?"
"What?" James flinched "Oh wait-"
"They want to paint your nails" Jasper laughed "you promised in the group chat"
"ah crap" He agreed to black, just to make his friend happy, he knew he's remove the polish anyways
Hours passed by, their hang-outs were fun even if they didn't do anything. Laying down to see the roof was their favorite activity, talking nonsense together and just being able to truly be who they are with each other. Just teenagers. Just that, be themselves.
Piper hoped to go with James to the hospital, she wanted to tell him that she actually loved and liked him. She was scared, very.
The four of them agreed in going as blanket ghosts, the tallest of them was Ranboo, scary looking if you asked Raven or Piper. Jasper stood at the height of 5'10'', being the second tallest of the group. Piper who was 5'5''- 6'' ish and Raven, 5'4''.
Later that night, Jasper, Ranboo and Piper left Raven's house to wait for the Halloween night.
Time skip, a day. 7 p.m., halloween night
"Are you still going to go to the hospital?" Peter asked his sister, with a concerned face in order to protect her
"Yes bro" She took her sunglasses and put them over the blanket holes "can you, pass me the candy bucket-?" Piper paced carefully around the room "I can't see"
"That will be a problem" He took the bucket and gave it to her "You have clothes underneath, of course...Right?"
"No" Piper smiled under the white sheet and saw her brother's shook face "Yes of course dude, i'm not an idiot"
"그만 괴롭히지 마 이 새끼야 ( Stop molesting me you child )" Peter usually spoke Korean when he was mad, or sad, or really happy, in this case Piper couldn't decipher which he was feeling "Will you at least be back before midnight?"
"안 돼. 아마 새벽 2시 ( Oh no. Maybe two in the morning )" Piper answered "그만 괴롭히지 마 이 새끼야 ( Stop molesting me you child )" She mocked her brother's phrase and laughed
"Are you serious?" Said Peter "Look, i trust you, but, this is not-" Mentioned before getting interrupted
"What is going on?" Their dad said from the kitchen, after being observing them getting ready in the living room "i know it's bad if you two are speaking Korean"
"It's nothing dad, Piper's going out with her friends, that's it" Peter covered her "I just don't want her to be here really late"
"It's Halloween kid, she's a teenager let her be" His dad took a sip of water and then walked over to the living room, where they were both standing "Just keep your phone charged and call if you need anything, you have my permission to stay at Raven's today" he hugged Piper by the shoulder "Don't worry too much Peter, you used to be just like her"
"Yes but-"
"What?"
"She's a child" He crossed his arms "I'm just worried..."
"i get it, but look, Piper" He said and Piper nodded next to him "She's going to be with Raven and Jasper and James, that's enough for me to let her go"
"See?" Piper smiled "It's nothing dangerous"
"Peter, take Lisa trick or treating" Mom came in with their sister "And Piper, be careful and have fun"
"Thanks mom" Piper smiled widely and took the candy bucket and left the house. Walked outside and found her friends waiting a little blocks away.
