Ranboo and Piper breath loudly as they held hands after running outside of the hell hospital. They looked into each others eyes and Piper didn't actually couldn't hold the tears of fear, and she broke into silent screaming and fell onto the ground, Ranboo did the same and held Piper in a hug as they both stayed processing what happened for a while. The cold air made both of them freeze since they were both wet, it was already midnight and the darkness couldn't let them see clearly.
"Ranboo, i'm sorry" Piper cried, holding his face and then burying her face in his chest, screaming loudly this time "This wasn't meant to happen"
"No, no, Piper this is not your fault" He hugged even tighter, in a sense of protecting her. James got up and picked her up, walked with Piper in his arms to a under tree and laid there, to hide under something because of their bloody looks, just if someone arrived. "Let's just...Stay here for a while"
"Do you think" She sniffed and looked up at him "Do you think we should actually tell someone" She pulled away from the hug, and sat next to him "all the missing people, are here" she looked over at the hospital, disgusted
"Not now, we should wait" he looked in the same way "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, i'm just...Scared" She stood up trembling, and shaking she gave Ranboo her hand, who held it and stood up with her "We, we should go home...I'm calling Ailee-"
"No" He looked at her, and took her phone "Do you think, they won't be suspicious about us looking like" he made gestures with his hands and looked up and down at Piper too "this?"
"Oh shit, i forgot about" She made an uncomfortable face "that, yeah...Do you think we can go somewhere to clean up?"
"I, i have money...There's a hotel near hear i think" James said, pointing at a certain direction "We can say it's a costume and it's fake" he said and Piper nodded.
They walked slowly together in silence, and every time they tried to say something, they stopped, because the atmosphere was really heavy. It wasn't them, it's was the surroundings.
"2 beds" Ranboo said as the hotel worker looked at him weirdly and gave him a room key "thanks"
"Enjoy your stay" said the worker, looking back and forth between Piper and him.
Piper and James walked through the hotel in a cold sweat and silence looking for their room. After finally finding the door, James inserted the key and opened the door carefully, he turned on the light switch after stepping in the room "do you want to shower first?" James asked Piper, who nodded and he waited sitting on the bed.

"Hey" Piper said, already showered and with a pijama that was in the hotel closet "there's slippers and pijamas in the closet, you can go now"

He closed the door and Piper laid on the bed, in silence hoping that the feeling of disgust and guilt would go away, she texted Raven, just in case

at least 10 more minutes passed before James came out the door. He smiled softly trying to give Piper some comfort, he sat down and sat crossed legged in the bed next to Piper's, looking at her, she turned to his side and did the same.
"What's up" Piper said softly, trying to smile
"I love you" James said, quickly and then smiled as his face turned red
"I love you too" She giggled and then stood up and walked over to James, pressed a soft kiss on his forehead and sat back down "I'm sorry i say this now, but...I wanted to take you to the hospital, so i could tell you, that i love you" She looked away and hugged herself "It didn't go according to plan"
"Oh...Well, it's ok" he said "I don't, i don't think it wasn't that bad" he looked at her, she looked up "Like, look at us now, at least we had some fun tonight" they both laughed quietly.
Both of them laid on their bed and looked at the roof in the room's dark light. The awful feeling had suddenly calmed down, a comfortable quietness and the love that they both had for each other was great. "Good night" they said to each other moments later, and they both went to bed.
