Aileena drove Piper home and then left her to decide if she wanted to go or not, they were totally available to take her and James to the hospital and leave them to discover the place for them. 

Piper laid down in her bed for a while, thinking about him, if it was safe to take him to the Alton Barlow place, the next day was halloween, it was halloween. What best at halloween then to scare the shit out of your beloved best friend. No. That's not right.

"Ugh" she sat up and texted James "yo, wanna hang out i have to ask you sumn"  her impulsive self wasn't taking a no for an answer, she got up, put her boots on and James's hoodie, did her hair and walked out "I'm going to James's house" she said as she closed the entrance door of her house. "Sure, i'm always glad to see you :]" Ranboo's text popped on Piper's screen, so she made her way to James's place. 

"Hey" She smiled as Ranboo opened the door "Wanna do something"

"Uh hey, and yes, i'll get my jacket, be right back" he shook his head and Piper saw him ran upstairs looking for a sweater, 2 minutes passed when he was back "let's go to walmart, you down?"

"Sure, wanna walk there?" Piper asked, walking beside him "Ah shit, i don't have money tho" 

"I have, don't worry" James smiled and took Piper's hand "What are you gonna be for halloween"

"I don't know" She squeezed his hand softly, letting Ranboo know she was fine "I'll probably be a basic ghost, with the blanket and glasses"

"that's sounds cool" he giggled "it's the easiest thing, i don't feel in the mood to dress up a lot either" 

"You're cute, let's go commit crime together" Piper laughed and looked up to Ranboo, who leaned in and softly left a kiss on her cheek 

"Uh what, I...I'm sorry, I thought-" he blushed and looked away, let go of her hand 

"It's fine, i liked that" She hugged him and held his hand again to continue walking "I think i feel the same"

Ranboo smirked and kept walking Piper's way "-If by crime you mean trick or treating and scaring kids, i'm in" 

They paced around the neighborhood like weird lost kids in love, they eventually arrived to the walmart, bought some snacks and a drink to share, then sat in the sidewalk to talk and shared earbuds to listen to some  music, it was already getting late, so watching the sunset was the perfect afternoon to spend with each other.

"You know, call me on your touch tone telephone and i'll be your no eyed girl" Piper smirked and raised an eyebrow jokingly, reason why Ranboo giggled shyly

"Well, you need me, a soft fuzzy man who can re design your logo" they both smiled 

"You know, i was wondering if tomorrow after trick or treating with Raven and Jasper, you wanted to, explore the Alton Barlow hospital" Shay shrugged and sipped the drink

"Oh what?! That's so cool, yes of course, i would love to...Just us?" he took a chip and scoffed

"Yeah, Raven said they were doing a halloween movie marathon with Jasper" she stretched standing up "A friend will drive us there, we won't have to worry" 

"Sounds great, i'll go to your house at 7, we can start trick or treating at that time, is that ok?"

"yup, i'll tell Rae, and after that we leave...Do you have a curfew?"

"No, it's halloween, my parents let me stay out all night" he stood up as well and walked over to a trash can to throw away the wastes "Whad'ya wanna do now?"

"We could go to Jasper's or Rae's house?" she walked over to him "or...I don't know, go  lay down to watch the stars in a park?" 

"Let's do both" he smiled widely and they walked towards their friend's house
