Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian Travel Back to the Past

Chapter 7

After a good talk with Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixuan, Wei Wuxian walk back to Jingshi. Wei Wuxian see the door open up, 'I'm guessing Lan Zhan is in,' he walk toward Jingshi and enter inside the room.

"Lan Zhan."

Lan Wangji look up to see Wei Wuxian walking into the room. "Did you have fun talking to Jin gongzi?"

Wei Wuxian went to seat down in front of Lan Wangji, "I did. I hope he will think about what I said to him."

"Lan Zhan, I was thinking. Shouldn't we deal with the water abyss by ourselves?" Lan Wangji look at Wei Wuxian, wondering why he want just the two of them.

"Wei Ying?"

Wei Wuxian look down at his tea cup, it was given by Lan Wangji when he sat down. "Since the water ghoul is fill with resentment energy, I thought that I should use my resentment energy against it or lure it away from the city."

Lan Wangji know where this is going, "but don't you need a dizi for that?"

Wei Wuxian grin, "you got tone of bamboo around your home? Why not make one? Or could you make one for me instead?"

"Mn," was all Lan Wangji said.

"Thank you Lan Zhan."

"Anything for Wei Ying."

Wei Wuxian feel warm inside when he hear this kind of thing from Lan Wangji because he know that Lan Wangji will always be by his side no matter what happens.

(Let just said is the next day okay!")
At 5 am in the morning, Lan Wangji woke up first since he want to carved a dizi for Wei Wuxian to use during their mission.

Since Wei Wuxian is a heavy sleeper, he won't wake up when Lan Wangji get out of the bed. Lan Wangji kissed Wei Wuxian on the forehead before heading to the cold spring for his regular meditation.

After soaking in the the cold spring, Lan Wangji walk around cloud Recesse looking for a perfect bamboo to carve for Wei Wuxian. That is until he found one, green, and new, perfect bamboo to make for Wei Wuxian. (Just making it up)

Lan Wangji cut it down using his bichen, it is a clean cut on both side. He seat down on the ground and start to carved the bamboo into a dizi for Wei Wuxian.

A minute or so later, Lan Wangji already finish with carved the bamboo into a dizi. "Wei Ying can use this for now until he make one from the burial mound."

Lan Wangji walk back to Jingshi, he see Wei Wuxian waiting for him outside.
"Wei Ying," Wei Wuxian look up to see Lan Wangji walking toward their home.

"Lan Zhan where did you go?" Wei Wuxian look at the bamboo in Lan Wangji hand. He look back up at Lan Wangji, "did you went to make a dizi for me?"

"Mn," was all Lan Wangji said as he handed the dizi to Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian took is from Lan Wangji hand, "Lan Zhan thank you so much!"

Lan Wangji smile as he nodded his head.

"Ah that's right, Zewu jun ask us to come meet him in Hanshi. I already call for breakfast, come in and have some before we go meet up with your brother."

When Lan Wangji have finished with his breakfast, the two of them went to Hanshi to meet up with Lan Xichen. The two of them wondering what is it that Lan Xichen want to talk to them about. The walk to see Lan Xichen was quite, Wei Wuxian is playing with his new dizi while Lan Wangji just walk silently next to Wei Wuxian.

They soon arrived at Lan Xichen room. Lan Wangji knock on the door, "come in."
Lan Wangji walk in first, follow by Wei Wuxian. "Xiong zhang," Lan Wangji bow to Lan Xichen.
