Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian Travel Back to the Past

Chapter 25

Let's start where Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji meet at the court yard.

"Wei gongzi, did I ever help you at all?" Lan Xichen been wanting to ask this for a while after watching what happen between his brother and Wei Wuxian.

"To tell you the truth Zewu Jun, I know that you like me a lot but in the end. You stand on the other side....fighting against me."

"Wei gongzi, what do you mean?" Lan Xichen asked.

"You will see."

The empathy start once more.

"Wangji, tell me, why does Wei gongzi sound so confident that he has a way to go against Wen Ruohan  Yin  Iron in a month?"

Lan Xichen turn to look at his little brother, he notices how quiet Lan Wangji is when he ask him this question.

"Xiong zhang, I don't know," was Lan Wangji answer.

"Many people from the past try to control the Yin Iron, in the end they fail. I am afraid that Wen gongzi is to overconfident."

Lan Wangji know this too, he is also afraid for Wei Wuxian, he is scare that something will happen to Wei Wuxian in the near future.

"Wangji, let's me ask you," Lan Wangji turn to look at his brother.

"How did the people in Yiling Supervisory office died? Does this have anything to do with the Yin Iron?"

"No. Xiong zhang. He would never do this."

Of course Lan Xichen believe Lan Wangji because his little brother will never lie to him.

"What happen in Yiling is very suspicious. When you approach Yiling did you see anything out of the ordinary?"

"Xiong zhang, are there any rule, that already set for everything in this world we are living in?"

"I always thought, within my lifetime, I have finish reading many book belong to our Lan clan that store in our library pavilion. They talk about the meaning of discerning the rule of everything in this world. Then I found out, even if I finish reading all the book that exist in this world, there are still so many puzzle in this world of our."

Lan Xichen turn to look at Lan Wangji who still have many questions on his stoic face.

"Wangji, there are no set of rule in this world. There is also no clear line between what is right and what is wrong."

After listen to everything Lan Xichen have said, Lan Wangji turn to look at his big brother.

"Xiong zhang, what happen if there are some people who can't be judge in the simple way, then how do we evaluate this person?"

"What make us human? We can't judge a person simply if they are right or wrong, but this lies within himself. This is how we evaluate the other, we can't tell whether they are black or white, but to understand them from deep within inside their heart," Lan Xichen move his hand over to where his heart is at.

Lan Wangji look at where Lan Xichen put his hand, then he heard noise coming from his left side. The two turn to see Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng walking in their direction.

When Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji see each other, Wei Wuxian look every where else beside Lan Wangji. Both Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng look at their brother, they understand what is going on between the two of them.

Wei Wuxian put on a small smile, he and Jiang Cheng walk over to where Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji is standing at. The four of them give one another a polite greeting bow to each other.
