Wen Chao think he all high and mighty seating at the top of the stair looking down at them.

"Have any of you memorize "The Quintessence of Wen" ? Does anyone want to volunteer to recite it?"

As he ask this no one want to rise their hand to speak up because it was too much to memorize their "Quintessence of Wen"

Wei Wuxian couldn't stand still, he keep on looking over at Lan Wangji wondering if he will do it or not. He even look at Jin Zixuan the same way.

"Fine, if no one want to volunteer, then I will call out your name."

Wen Chao look at only three people, "Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian, Jin Zixuan."

Wei Wuxian is surprise that he got call on, he look at Lan Wangji once more to see what he will do next.

"I won't do it," was the only answer Lan Wangji can give to Wen Chao.

This annoy Wen Chao, "Aren't you...aren't you the one they call the so so Twin Jade of Lan ? Shouldn't you remember something like this or remember a few word of it? I think you are not taken Wen clan seriously. Alright then."

Wen Chao turn to the other two, "Wei Wuxian, Jin Zixuan, which one of you will go first?"

"I won't do it either," Jin Zixuan look away from Wen Chao. This got Wen Chao angry.

"I will do it!"

Jiang Cheng, Jin Zixuan and Lan Wangji look at Wei Wuxian with a scary expression. They all know that Wei Wuxian joke around, play prank on other people and never take thing serious.

This kind of make Wen Chao happy, "Wei Wuxian, you better do it right or you will be punish."

With a sigh and a smile on his face, he look over at Lan Wangji. 'Forgive me for what I am about to do, Lan zhan.'

Wei Wuxian walk to the front, he try to make thing last a bit longer or annoy Wen Chao by stretching his muscle out.

"Wei Wuxian, are you going to do it or not?" Wen Chao ask in an annoying tone.

"I will do it, listen okay?"

Wei Wuxian walk side to side while reciting Gusu rule, "thou shall not kill, fight, or lech. Thou shall not shout, wander at night or sprint."

While listen to what Wei Wuxian is doing, Jiang Cheng can't believe that Wei Wuxian have the gut to humiliate Wen Chao.

Jin Zixuan gave a small chuckle at how silly Wei Wuxian is, he also can't believe Wei Wuxian recited Gusu Lan rule instead of Wen clan rule.

Lan Wangji look at Wei Wuxian as he continue to recite Gusu Lan Sect rule, 'All this time, he still remember the rule.'

"Thou shall not bully the weak by being strong or tease others."

Wen Chao understand that Wei Wuxian isn't reciting Wen clan rule but Gusu Lan Sect rule instead.

"Thou shall not breach law."

"Wei xiong has the nerve," Nie Huaisang whispers to himself.

"Thou shall not skip class or leave early."

Lan Wangji continue to listen to all the rule coming from Wei Wuxian mouth. Inside he is happy that Wei Wuxian can memorize all the rule from his clan. He doesn't show it but he really care deeply for Wei Wuxian.
