Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian Travel Back to the Past

Chapter 21

Let's start where Wei Wuxian went back to Lotus Cove to save Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian learn about Jiang Cheng core got melted.

Another morning for everyone, the three Lan, Nie brother, Wen sibling, Jin Zixuan and his mother, And Wei Wuxian, all of them feel the different from the Jiang family. It is like the distance is gone, the only thing left is  love and warmth within the family.

"Please excuse me for a moment," Wei Wuxian left from there as he dragged Lan Wangji along with him.

Once the two of them are far away from the orchid room, Wei Wuxian sat down on a rock near the cold spring.

"Lan Zhan, after the war is over and everyone is safe and sound. I....I....I want to leave the Jiang clan. I don't feel like part of their family anymore."

Lan Wangji sat down next to him, Wei Wuxian look over at Lan Wangji and said, "I feel more at home with you, Lan Zhan, but I also don't want to stay in cloud Recesse. I don't want to be bound down by your family rule, Lan Zhan."

This cause Lan Wangji to smile, "I was thinking the same thing, I am not going to leave the clan. We can build a small house away from a place that no one will find us, they can send message to us if they needed anything."

"Wei Ying, I also feel at home with you as well. We can do thing you want to do, thing that make you happy is all I care about."

Wei Wuxian smile at what Lan Wangji just said. The two of them stay there for a little bit longer before getting up to go back to the Orchid room.

"Before we start, Lan Zhan, I want you to promise me that what you are about to see, you won't get angry?"

"Okay I promise."

Wei Wuxian start where he ran after Jiang Cheng after finding that he went missing from the inn.

When Wei Wuxian left the inn to go look for Jiang Cheng, it is still raining outside. He know where Jiang Cheng is going, the path lead him back to Lotus Cove.

Wei Wuxian hide behind the wall of Lotus Cove, he is watching out for any sight of Wen clan man. He try not to get caught before finding out where Jiang Cheng is been held prison.

While walking around to try to find Jiang Cheng, Wei Wuxian felt someone is following him so he hide behind a hiding place. When that person is near where he is at, he took them by the neck to threaten them.

"A-Ning!"

Wen Ning squeezed Wen Qing hand, "Jie, Wei gongzi won't hurt me."

"Wei Gongzi, is me, Wen Ning," Wei Wuxian look down at the protection amulet that is hanging near Wen Ning waist.

"Wen Ning?" Wen Ning nodded his head, this make Wei Wuxian feel at ease to know that there is someone he know.

"You are not part of the massacre of Lotus Cove at you?"

Wen Ning shook his head no, "after I heard what happen, I came here as fast as I can. I want to help you, Wei gongzi."

Wei Wuxian let go of Wen Ning throat.

"Are you here to save Jiang gongzi? I can save him for you."

He grab hold of Wen Ning hand, "You can save Jiang Cheng?"

Wen Ning nodded his head, "You save me once, this is my way of repaying you, Gongzi."

"Thank you, Wen Ning."

Wen Ning nodded his head, "please go wait in the boat near the dock in the back of your house, I will bring Jiang gongzi to you."

The two of them went separate way, Wen Ning went to go rescue Jiang Cheng while Wei Wuxian go find a boat to take them away from Lotus Cove.
