Ransom:
She's here! Evelyn is here! MY EVELYN IS HERE!
My beautiful dove!
But why is she here? She shouldn't be in my house. I purposefully left her at Harlan's house.
I don't want her to know – Shit! What if she knows?
She couldn't have known. I saw her car was still parked outside Harlan's house.
But I still need to do something...something Evelyn can never know.
She must never find out, or she will leave me...as in leave me forever...
Which is why I probably need her to be fall asleep, and fast. I need her to be tired enough to fall asleep so I can go out again and – No! Don't even think about that!
"Ransom?" Evelyn pushes away, breaking our kiss. "I need to talk to you."
Oh! But I don't want to talk. I have a feeling Evelyn will want to talk about what happened earlier when that bitch showed up. And I am not in the mood to talk about Emerald, well, talk about that damn bitch!
But you need to tell Evelyn that Emerald means nothing to you. Nothing.
"Tomorrow." I declare, pulling her lips onto my own.
I will talk to Evelyn about that bitch tomorrow. Right now, I just need to get Evelyn tired and naked.
I may want Evelyn to fall asleep, but I still want to see her beautiful body before she sleeps.
"N-No. I need to...I need to..." Evelyn tries to speak against my lips, but I just push my lips harder onto hers.
I need Evelyn to stop talking. I know she is probably angry at me because I never told her the full history about Emerald and I, but tonight...I just want to be with my girlfriend...intimately.
And I need to make her tired.
"Ransom!" Evelyn tries to push away, but I wrap my arms around her so she cannot break our kiss.
I lean my body forward and we both fall onto the bed. I accidentally fall on top of Evelyn.
"What the hell Ransom?" Evelyn shrieks, turning her head to the side, breaking our kiss.
"I'm so sorry." I exhale. "I just want to kiss you." Get lost in you. You against me. Purposefully make you tired. Have I made myself clear?
"But we need to –"
"Tomorrow."
"No. Now. There is something I need to tell you."
I shake my head. "Tell me tomorrow."
"But I –"
I lean down to claim Evelyn's lips over my own. I wrap my arms around her body, creating a gap between her back and the bed.
Can't she take a hint?
"Ransom!" Evelyn whines.
No! I cannot listen to her petty whines! I hate her whining.
"Stop! Please!" Evelyn frantically moves her hands to my shoulders to try and push me away.
I intensify the kiss, but Evelyn turns her head so I end up kissing her cheek, so I have to lift my head.
I look down into Evelyn's beautiful eyes. "Sweetheart...Can we speak tomorrow? Tonight," I lean my lips to her ear, "I want to feel my body against yours."
