Evelyn:
"Go inside so long, Marta. I just need to have a word with Evelyn." Ransom instructs to Marta, already dragging me away from restaurant's main entrance.
He wants to have a quick word with me? Oh no! It'll be more like a big fight – but we cannot do that here. It's too public, and I know if Ransom and I fight, then we will be screaming at each other.
"And get us a table while you're inside." Ransom adds bluntly.
I smack his shoulder. "Don't be so rude."
"What?" Ransom furrows his brows. "She's going inside, might as well get us a tablewhile she's waiting for us." he says quietly, dragging me further away from the restaurant's main entrance, turning around the corner.
"Let me go!" I spit, trying to pull away from Ransom, but he just tightens his grip and sighs heavily, like a disappointed father.
I hate it when he does that!
"Let's get back inside the restaurant." I breathe. "I don't want to talk to you now." I admit, looking back at the restaurant, which seems familiar...like I have been here before, but when – Oh wait! I recognize the restaurant now.
Yes!
Ransom brought me here a few days ago, after we found out about Harlan's death, when Emma's friend started questioning why Ransom was with me.
Argh!
Anyway, I also remember Ransom took a long time paying for our bill. Oh! And he wasn't acting like an asshole, like he is now.
Hey! This restaurant serves cherry pie! So maybe I can –
"Ouch!" I wince as Ransom knocks me against the restaurant's wooden wall. "Ransom! Why did you –"
I am suddenly silenced when Ransom covers his lips over mine, but the way Ransom is kissing me...it's not affectionate, nor is it loving. It's possessive and domineering, like he is claiming me as his, and his alone.
Like a damn trophy!
Argh! I hate it when he does that! It really bugs me!
Ransom presses his lips harder onto mine, and pins my hands against the wall, so I cannot push him away. I do however, try to move my head from side to side to see if that breaks my kiss from Ransom, but Ransom holds me in place.
I look frantically from side to side, desperately trying to see if anyone will spot us, but where Ransom took us to 'have a word', is not where any customer would go, but a staff member may walk out here for a break.
I attempt to try and break the kiss again, but Ransom doesn't let up. He moans against my lips, a little too loudly, and he tightens his grip around my wrists. He is kissing me so hard that I am struggling to breathe.
Eventually after a few more seconds, Ransom finally breaks our kiss, which makes me gasp for air as I look up to the sky, trying to catch my breath.
"You..." Ransom breathes heavily on my neck, "You can...You can be so stubborn."
I close my eyes briefly before looking at Ransom, his eyes gleaming in the sunlight.
Dammit he still looks so sexy even when I am angry with him!
"And you can be a complete asshole." I counter, breathing heavily, like Ransom. "Now what did you want to talk to me about, because I –"
"I didn't want to talk to you. I just needed to kiss you." Ransom confesses, licking his lips.
