Evelyn:

"Evelyn! Ransom! Hello!" Will beams as Ransom and I step out of the Beamer.

Will's hair seems to have grown a little since I last saw him. He appears to have added a few highlights in his hair. Isee its light blonde highlights over his dark blonde hair. It looks nice.

"Will." Ransom nods his head.

Will nods back at Ransom and then looks at me.

I look over to Lydia's house – which is probably empty considering she is spending the day with her mother. So Sheila had to stay at Ransom's house while we move the bed. I know Lydia took Simba with her to her mother, so Sheila would have been all alone if I brought her with.

I wish I could see my best friend, but I wouldn't want her to cancel her day with her mother. Plus, I am only with Ransom and Will, and Will doesn't give off a 'I want to be your boyfriend' vibe.

Nothing could go wrong.

"Hey Will, thanks for coming." I say, stretching out my hand to shake his hand.

Will snickers, his baby blue eyes gleaming. "Oh don't be silly, come here!" he pulls me into his embrace, squeezing me a little too tight. The hug itself is not a 'I am in love with you' one, it's more of a big friendly one.

I do however pull away before Ransom starts to suspect that I may be interested in Will in a romantic way – which I am not.

"Where is Emma?" Ransom asks coldly. "Last I saw her, you two were busy shaking it up."

"Ransom!" I scold.

"It's okay." Will says, laughing nervously. "I actually broke up with her."

"You did?" Ransom and I both shriek.

Will nods, creasing his brows as he looks at Ransom and I in confusion.

"When did you break up with her?" Ransom asks, his voice is still cold.

"Ransom!" I scold, again.

Will laughs nervously again before he speaks normally. "I broke up with her after you two left the gym. After seeing how she treated you, Evelyn, and her obvious obsession over you, Ransom, I knew she was going to be bad news if I continued to date her. I didn't wantthat. I didn't want a girlfriend who is jealous or bitchy." Will explains.

There is a moment of silence before Ransom speaks up.

"How did she take it?" he asks, his voice changing to curiosity.

"Not well. She acted like a grown brat when I told her that we are no longer in a relationship." Will answers.

"Let me guess," Ransom starts to snicker, "she took the first piece of equipment she could find to throw at you?"

Will's face lights up in surprise. "YES! Oh my word! She did throw something at me!" he agrees a little too enthusiastically.

"What did she throw at you?" Ransom asks quietly.

Will raises his brows and presses his lips together. "Luckily we weren't in the weight room," he drawls, "we were in the passage way thankfully. So, it was an empty water bottle. A water bottle that was mine."

"Haha. At least it wasn't a weight or worse, a kettlebell." Ransom cracks up laughing, and Will joins him.

What is happening?

Ransom is laughing with another man...in front of me? Ransom isn't getting jealous or irritated that I asked another man to help us either?

Well, Will is definitely a keeper – for a friend that is.
