"Someone looks really happy today" Chloe said laughing and putting a French fry in her mouth.
We had visited Chloe and she was over being upset about not knowing Zack was adopted or that he was making wrong choices. She looked relaxed and happy. Now after talking about Zack and her for an hour we were eating lunch at Chloe's favorite burger restaurant.
"Well duh I just told you that I'm over Matt, he's such a lost puppy, in a bad way. I'm actually in love with Leo" Talia babbled for the fifth time this day. She didn't have a crush on Matt, that I figured when she was kissing Leo at the party. But to think how she was obsessed with her relationship was something I never thought of.
"Talia I don't mean you! Snap out of it" Chloe clicked her fingers and rolled her eyes, I laughed, which I wished I hadn't because they all looked at me.
"Now that I notice, you're right. Someone does look really happy today" Talia said giving me a knowing smile.
"What am I not allowed to laugh?" I asked taking a bite of my burger
"No" Vanessa said smiling as well.
I took another bite of my burger and everyone was staring at me. They'd stopped eating and I was annoyed. I rolled my eyes and ignored their stare.
After a while they were still all quiet and looking at me so I sighed "What!?" I exclaimed. They all started laughing. "Girl, did Bryan and you finally kiss?" She asked. My mouth dropped open slightly, but I quickly closed it.
"Um ew, no I don't like him" I tired lying, but failed miserably, because they all knew I was lying.
"Uh, no it's just that... I don't know it's weird with Bryan" I tried explaining to them something they'd probably not understand.
"Relax, at least you know you love him" Vanessa said
"Like. Not love" I said
"Right" Talia said, I rolled my eyes.

I had just come home and was now lying down on the L sofa. I was reading my book, waiting for mom to get home so we could go to the mall. She told me I had no clothes suitable for wearing in a formal party except for a green flowy dress, which now was way too loose on me. And I needed to get sandals for Izzy.
Mom came from her office and I closed my book ready to go. I was reading a romance novel for the first time, and it was actually great, Talia recommended it to me, and lent me hers.
"Hi honey, sorry I can't go to the mall with you." She said
"What? why not" I asked
"We got new staff and my boss just told me to go and meet up with them at the office and explain how work is done." My mom usually had people to do that for her, such as Robert her assistant.
"Where's Robert can't he?" I asked getting a little upset
"He took a holiday leave for two weeks, so all the works on me" She said with a sorry expression on her face.
"It's fine we can go another day" I said sighing and sitting on the couch
"No honey you need to buy a good dress before tomorrow, we are meeting with my boss's family on Sunday and I don't want you to wear jeans" Mom said
"Well we both know I can't drive, so I'll ask dad" I told Mom
"Honey I asked Bryan and he said he'd take you" She said relaxed. My eyes widened, I couldn't go with Bryan not after the whole thing that was happening in my brain.
