Karasuno had been trying to reach out to Kageyama, wanting to apologize for what they had done. It turned out that the whole 'we're kicking you off the team' was an actual prank. They didn't know this was going to happen. They truly cared for the raven. It didn't matter now, since the girl had completely shut them away. Suga glanced at the metal door. Normally, Hinata and Kageyama used to race each other, doing all the noise they could. But right now, Hinata was as silent as a mouse. "Kageyama..." the vice-captain muttered in sadness.
"Suga. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have agreed to the prank." Daichi apologized, looking down in shame.
"Why are you apologizing cap? It's my fault. I suggested this whole stupid prank, and ignored the consequences." Tanaka argued.
"Let's not argue. It's all of our faults, alright? We don't have to put all of the blame on someone." Asahi sighed.
"We need to apologize." Yamaguchi stated, serious.
"Yeah, but how? The Q-... Kageyama has been avoiding us whenever we try to apologize in person, and has been ignoring all of our texts. Althought I don't blame her." Tsukishima spoke, struggling to say the setter's name. He knew that he didn't have the right to insult her after what they had done.

Kageyama didn't feel like going to school. It's not like she felt well anyways. This whole thing really did affect her a lot, no matter how hard she tried to deny it. Plus, she also had other important things to do. "What time is it anyway?" she mumbled, getting up from the kitchen floor.
5:34 AM
Well, it was quite early. She still had some time. Getting up, she got rid of the dust that was all over her. Her stomach was still rumbling. "Yeah yeah, calm down. I'll grab something to eat." she deadpanned. The first thing she saw and took was an apple. After having washed it throughly, she started eating it. At least that could keep her stomach quiet for a while. Now that her hunger wasn't a problem anymore, she could think about more things. For example, how did the demons from the Flame World find a way to enter this world? And why did they attack Ushijima?
"It doesn't make any sense that he's somehow connected to them. It's most probably that he just saw them enter, and they attacked him to keep him quiet." she muttered. But was that what really happened? Or did he have a connection? The setter started messing with her hair, groaning in annoyance. She was thinking too much into it.
"I shouldn't think too much into it at the moment. For now, I should investigate that alley." she sighed. But she would have to wait until night time. After all, the police are investigating the place at the moment. What else could she do to kill time? Well, first of all, she should call the school, claiming that she was sick. She just hoped that it could work. Now, she had to think things through again and narrow down the suspects.
After Ushijima visited his father, he went in the alleyway for some reason. Was it because he wanted a shortcut? Or did he hear a strange noise? Whatever it was, he went in. And then he met his two attackers.
One of them was one of those flaming bats, which was the reason why he got burn marks. And the other one was Poemi. The sadistic, little girl that is Ivlis's daughter. Ushijima was really lucky to have not died right there. Poemi loves killing and torturing her victims, why not do it to him? There had to be a reason why. Was it to keep a low profile?
Now, this brought her to her third and last point: What were they doing here? How did they find a way to enter this world full of humans? What was their true purpose behind this? If Ivlis was the one leading this whole operation, then he either wanted to conquer and slave the humans, or... destroy it.
"No... If he wants to destroy this world... I'll definitely stop him. We did it once, right?" she declared, clenching her fists. She was right, it wasn't the first time she would have to fight him. But this time, she was on her own. This time, she must protect what she loves alone. And she was determined to die trying. She glanced at one of the pictures on her night stand. It was one of her, Miwa and her grandpa.
"Miwa... I'll protect everyone, even those bastards. They may not deserve it, but they're still human beings. They can still redeem themselves." she spoke, tears filling her eyes. She put it back when she saw another one. Picking it up, she realized which one it was.
"This picture... It's when Oikawa-san and Iwaizumi-san graduated middle school..." she mumbled, the tears finally falling. She hugged the picture, the childhood memories flooding her mind. 'Oikawa-san... Kindaichi... Kunimi... I'm sorry...' she thought, hugging it tightly.
