The first two days after we had found Jasper passed by like a blur. I spent every waking minute with him. I cleaned his wounds, tried getting water down his throat. But I spent most of my time trying to find out what kind of healing herb the grounders used.

I sat next to Jasper as he moaned in pain. It was heartbreaking to see him like this. "It's okay, I'm here." I said. I then started to hum. At first I didn't realize I was doing it, but once I started Jasper seemed to calm down just a bit.

"How is he?" I looked up to see Bellamy stick his head through the hole. He climbed up and walked over to me.

I turned and started petting Jaspers sweat soaked hair back, not wanting to meet Bellamy's eyes. "Not like you would care otherwise." I stated plainly.

"He's one of us, so of course I care." He said. I didn't answer because I knew he was false because I still had not eaten since we've arrived. 4 days without food.

I was weak. That's one of the main reasons I stayed with Jasper because my legs could no longer support me, and every time I tried to stand I would get lightheaded. I knew my blood sugar must have been dangerously low. The only thing that wasn't a total downer was the fact that the hungry pains were no longer there.

"Have you eaten anything yet?" Bellamy asked beside me.

"It's not like you would care if I did." I said.

I heard Bellamy stand up and climb down the ladder. I looked over to Monty who was working by the corner. "Have you eaten?" He asked worry in his face.

"No, have you?" I asked.

"I went out and found a few nuts and berries, if I had know you hadn't eaten I would have brought you back some. Sorry Echo." Monty said.

"It's fine, I don't deserve food until Jaspers better anyway." I said looking down at poor Jasper.

After a few minutes pass I heard someone come up the ladder. Clarke, and Finn were out fetching water, and Octavia was helping build the wall, so I had no idea who would be coming up.

Before I could see who it was and intoxicating smell hit my nose. I perked up to the smell of cooked meat. Looking over to the ladder I saw Bellamy peek his head up once more, only this time he came holding cooked meat on a stick.

A scowl etched over my face. "Come to rub your food in my face?" I asked.

"No, I brought it for you." Bellamy said handing the stick to me.

"I'm not taking off my wristband." I said.

"I'm not asking you too." Bellamy said. "You haven't eaten in four days, you need food. Take it."

"What happened to 'you do as I say, and that means no food without the price of a wristband'?" I asked mocking his voice.

"First off I don't sound like that, and second off, I'm not going to let you starve." He said.

"Why not, cause I know you didn't just suddenly grow a heart."

"I don't care about you, but you are the closest thing we have to a doctor, so sadly we still need you, warrior, and we can't have you starving, now eat." As I listened I suddenly realized how deep Bellamy's voice actually was.

I grabbed the stick forcefully showing my clear anger at how I felt about this, and I took a bite. I had to physically keep myself from moaning in pleasure as the foreign taste of meat touched my tongue. I made myself eat slowly as to not cause myself a stomach ache.

Bellamy watched smirking a bit. "Good?" He asked.

I couldn't have him now how grateful I was so I just shrugged. "I guess." I said.
