"Octavia!" I yelled through camp. "Octavia!" I looked frantically for my friend, but I saw her no where. I was beginning to worry. Like really worry. It had been 12 hours since I last saw my friend, and night was here, if she was still out, the grounders might have. "Octavia if you're hiding to make Bellamy mad I understand, but at least tell me where you are." No answer.
"Echo, what's wrong?" Clarke asked walking up to me.
"Have you see Octavia, she's been missing since earlier this morning. I left her with Bellamy." I said frantically.
"Octavia!" It was Bellamy. He saw me and walked up. "Your up." He said looking to Clarke, not even meeting my eyes. Why he was mad at me was beyond my comprehension, it should have been me that was mad, don't get me wrong, I was mad.
"Yeah, knowing that hundreds of people might be dying on the Ark makes it pretty hard to sleep." Clarke sassed, I was pretty sure she had got the sass from me because she was never like that when she was younger.
"Raven's flares will work." Bellamy retorted, but by his voice I wasn't sure if he was trying to convince himself or Clarke.
"Her radio would've worked better." I snarled.
"Have you seen Octavia?" Bellamy said finally meeting my eyes.
"No, that's why I am up. I'm looking for her too." I said. "Last time I saw her she was yelling at you in the woods, so if she's gone it's your fault." Bellamy looked hurt at my words, and I shouldn't have felt sorry, but I did.
"It's Octavia, she's probably chasing butterflies." Clarke said rolling her eyes. She had a point the second night here Octavia ran off after glowing blue butterflies.
"Clarke, I've checked the camp." I said. "She's not here. Besides she would have told me if she left. She always does."
Clarke must have noticed my concerned expression because her amused face changed to match mine. "Ok. I'll help you guys find her. Let's check again. You go to the drop ship." Clarke said to Bellamy. "Echo, you check the perimeter, and I'll check the rest of the tents."
"Thank you." Bellamy said.
"Don't thank me. I'm not doing this for you." Clarke said. "I'm doing it for Octavia, and Echo."
We all walked off towards out spots. I started rushing around the camp. "Octavia!" I yelled.
"Shut up!" Someone said.
"Shut up, yourself, I'm looking for someone." I sassed back to the person. "Octavia!"
No answer. Soon I had made my way around camp three times. No Octavia. Something was dreadfully wrong. There was no choice, I had to get my friend back at all cost. I then went to my tent, and grabbed my knife. I ventured out to see Bellamy gathering everyone together.
"Hey, everybody gather around and grab a weapon." He said unveiling a huge pile of make shift weapons. "My sister's been out there alone for 12 hours. Arm up. We're not coming back without her." Everyone started picking up weapons. "Finn get out here, we're leaving."
I didn't wait for Finn or Bellamy I started walking out. I turned back one more time and peered over to above my tent. An arrow stuck in the tree. Anthony was watching. I took a sigh of relief and quickly walked off ahead of everyone else. Soon I had left everybody behind.
As I walked out I grabbed a torch because I knew the forest would be pitch black. I walked ahead for another ten minutes before I heard someone land behind me. I grabbed my knife and was about to strike whoever it was, but as soon as I brought my knife down the person caught it. "Woah" It was Anthony. He was wearing his creepy grounder mask, he took it off and put it in his bag while grabbing his bow. To be honest, I was extremely happy to see him. "If you're going to be wandering through the woods at night at least take someone with you."
