I walked up to Monty and and Jasper as they threw nuts at each other. I rolled my eyes and started grabbing a few ration packs for the road. "Hey, what are you doing?" Jasper asked.
"I'm going for a hike, and I'm going to need a couple of these." I said putting them in my pack and then grabbing my water bottle and shoving it in also.
soonBellamy walked up and started putting about four times more rations in his bag then me. "That's a lot of rations." I said looking at me. "You realize this is a day trip."
"A lot can happen in a day." Bellamy said shutting the ration box. I sighed and starting walking out, and Bellamy was right behind.
We walked in complete silence, neither of us breaking the angry silence. Somehow I had managed to remain ahead even though my injury was in pain. "If you keep up at that pace you'll hurt yourself." Bellamy said walking up to my side.
"Oh, like you care." I huffed. "If my wound opened right now, you would just leave me here to die."
"Can we not fight." Bellamy said.
"Can you not be an ass?" I sassed back.
"I don't get why you are so mad at me?" He asked.
I stopped, and took a deep breath because if I didn't I knew I would have ended up punching Bellamy in the face. "You don't understand why I'm mad at you?" I asked in a quiet voice. "How about the fact that you threaten to kill me if I didn't take off that wristband, or that you knocked me over making me hit my head on a rock and leaving me there to bleed, or the fact that you didn't visit me while I was healing. You are so selfish Bellamy Blake."
I started walking again, and Bellamy caught up. "Hey, I helped save your life." He said.
I let out a fake laugh. "Yeah, cause you're the one who stitched me up, or got the antidote, oh wait it wasn't you, it was Clarke and Octavia."
"I brought the grounder back to camp so he could tell Octavia which one was the antidote."
"We wouldn't have needed the antidote if we had just left when Octavia told us too, but no, you had to get your revenge."
"If you would have just let me kill him you wouldn't have gotten stabbed."
"Oh my bad for not wanting you to be a killer." I said. "Beside he was no threat."
"Say that to the stab wound in your side."
"You know what, why don't we just go back to our original arrangement of not talking. Okay?" I said.
"Fine with me."
We gave each other one last glare before we started walking again. I held the map in front of me to make sure we were going in the right direction when I heard a twig snap, but it was far away. I perked up and stared into the direction of where I heard it.
"What?" Bellamy asked looking at me.
"Did you hear that?" I asked. "Over there. I heard a twig snap."
"It was probably just an animal." Bell said.
"If it was an animal then I would have heard it run away, this was just one twig snap. I think we're being followed."
"Don't be so paranoid. Besides, nothing will attack you when I'm here."
"You are really one cocky son of a bitch." I stated walking off, but keeping my ears open, and my one hand resting on my knife handle.
We walked on until we reached an open area with a swampy looking lake at the bottom with buildings in ruins. I looked a the map, "The depot is supposed to be around here somewhere." I said.
