Once I was up, which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, we made our way to the tent entrance. Octavia peeked her head out. "Okay, the coast is clear for now." She said pushing the tent flap open wider so that I could escape. I squeezed out passed her, and looked up to see an arrow. I sighed with relief. "Get back within the hour, if Clarke comes and see's that you're not here, she'll have my head."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I said not even looking at her. "I know the drill." I turned back around and gave Octavia a quick hug. "Thank you so much. I love you."
"Yeah, I know." She said through a smile. "Now go before someone see's you."
We released, and I crept my way to the wall, and slipped out through the loose part of the wall that Octavia and I used. I hugged the wall as the guard passed by, once he was passed, I slipped into the woods disappearing from the view of the camp. As soon as I could no longer hear the voice of camp I kept my ears open for another sound.
Thump.
I looked behind me to see Anthony. I wave of relief passed over me upon seeing his blue eyes. "It's so good to see you." I said feeling as a load had been lifted off my chest. Every since he left me in the grounder cave to go help my friends I was terrified that he had gotten caught by his own. But thankfully he was okay. However, Anthony's face looked far from being okay. His eyes were etched in what looked like worry. "Is something wrong?" I asked taking a step forward.
"You know that cave I put you in?" I nodded. "Well, my friend that lives there is missing."
My heart literally skipped a beat. He didn't know we had him. "Anthony," I started. "We... we have him." I looked away not ready to meet Anthony's critical stare. "I'm sorry, but when you put me in that cave, I found my friend. He had her locked up, when he came back Octavia knocked him out, and then before either of us could escape Bellamy and the others came, they wouldn't let us leave until the grounder was dead. But when I refused to move so that he wouldn't kill him, your friend came at Finn with a knife. I just barely had time to jump in front of the blade. But Bellamy decided to take his anger out on the grounder, and brought him back to our camp for questioning. I'm so sorry, if I had known I would have stopped it."
My voice quivered, and I turned my body away from Anthony. I felt terrible. Even though I wasn't the one who did it, it was because of me he was locked up. "You got stabbed?" Was the first thing for him to say.
"What?" I asked confused as I looked up at him.
"You got stabbed?" Anthony repeated, his face was filled with emotion. All I could do was nod. "Where?"
I lifted up my shirt and revealed the nasty red wound that was stitched together with wire from the drop ship. "It's fine, it just needs a few days to heal." I said brushing it off.
I was going to lower my shirt, but Anthony cleared the distance between us, and kept his hand on mine, so that he could observe the stab wound further. "How did you survive? I know for a fact that the blade was poisoned."
"My friend got the antidote from your friend." I said. "It tasted a lot like how I imagine bugs taste." I almost gagged at the taste.
"That's because the antidote is made from bugs that live on the bottom of rocks in the water." Anthony said like it was no big deal. My whole body shivered in distaste. "You know if that blade was any higher it would have pierced your heart." I nodded knowing he was right. After a while of his staring at the wound some more he looked up at me quickly. "Wait, how long has it been since you got stabbed."
"Three days." I answered.
"Why the hell are you out here. You should be resting." Anthony fussed pushing my shirt back down and leading me back to camp.
