Voices filled my ears. Voices that I had missed. "How long do you think it will be till she awakes?" I heard Octavia say. She was right by my side, her hand was in mine.

"Whenever I damn well please." I said smiling peeking my eyes open.

"Echo!" Clarke said rushing to my other side. "Thank god you're awake."

"Yeah well, thank you for that." I said giving her a smile.

"It wasn't just me." Clarke said. "My mother coached me through most of it. And Finn, and Raven helped. But Octavia is the person you should be thanking most. She's the one who got the antidote."

"Thank you, dying isn't something I had on my mind yet." I said letting out a laugh. But the pain was to much, it made me clutch my wound. I felt the stitching, it was neatly done.

"Hey, don't laugh, you might open your stitching." Clarke fussed. "I worked really hard to get it in."

I was about to give her a snappy retort when Clarke stood up. "Where are you going?" I asked feeling a bit disheartened she was going to leave me so soon.

"The others wanted me to let them know when you woke up." She said. "I'll be back to fuss over you again, don't worry." She gave me a smirk and then left pushing the flap aside.

Finally curiosity got the best of me. "How long have I been out?" I asked looking to Octavia who was staring off into space.

She snapped out of her daze and looked at me. "About 12 hours." She said. "We were all super worried about you. I don't think I have ever seen Clarke so distressed. In fact, everyone was distressed. Even people who didn't even know you." I let what she said sink in. It made me feel a bit warming inside knowing that the people down here cared. Even if it was just that I was the only doctor. "Hey," Octavia said breaking me out of my mind. "How much do you remember?"

"Well the stab of course. Being brought into camp. I remember waking up to see the Bellamy drag the grounder in. The knife being pulled out is something I wish I didn't remember. And I remember getting the antidote." I said recalling everything that wasn't a complete blur. "Octavia, I have to ask you something, I need you to be completely honest."

"Okay." She said looking at me confused.

"After I was given the antidote, Finn said something. He said that it had better work for everything you did to get it. What did he mean?" I asked almost to scared to know the answer.

Octavia pressed her lips together into a thin line and looked up almost as if remembering. "The grounder that you saw Bellamy drag in, is the same one that saved my life. Well, Bellamy thought it would be a good idea to bring him back here to question him. But he wouldn't say anything. Then when Clarke came up holding the knife, I knew something was wrong. There was so much anger in her eyes. When she told Bellamy that the blade was poisoned, Bellamy had the same expression." Octavia went silent almost dreading what she was going to say next. "They tortured him, Echo. Bellamy whipped him with a seatbelt, when that didn't work, he stuck a stack through his hand, then Finn came up and electrocuted him using the wires Raven had hooked up. But he still refused to tell them which one was the antidote. Finally, I took the blade and cut myself. I knew that he wouldn't let me die. He finally told us which one it was."

As she spoke my heart tightened. My breathing became labored. How could they do this to him. They tortured him. Before I could say anything the flaps to the drop ship blew open and in ran 6 people. Clarke, Finn, Raven, Jasper, Monty, and Bellamy. Anger seared through my entire being seeing them.

I guess my appearance looked scary because they all stopped and looked at me. "Echo... are you okay?" Clarke said stepping forward.

"Get out!" I screamed the loudest I could, which wasn't that loud. But it was enough to get a startled jump from all of them including Octavia. "I don't want to see your faces." I pointed to Finn, Bellamy, and Clarke. Their hurt expressions should have made me feel guilty, but anger still boiled through me.
