Chapter Three

Third POV

"Stick with James," Orion said to his sons, "No doubt he's been told of his heritage too," he added. Sirius and Regulus nodded before they said goodbye to their father and left for the train, finding an empty compartment. "This will be an interesting year," Regulus had said, he was going to practice carrying the mandrake leaf with a substitute just so he had to do the mandrake leaf once, according to Sirius it didn't taste good.

James had entered the train and had passed by Snape on the train and noticed an odd feeling he was having, he remembered his dad had told him that he could sense an Underworld demigod, but this seemed blocked, like he didn't know. "What Potter? No comment?" he heard behind him, "No," he said and walked off finding Sirius and Regulus, "Do you know who the others are?" he asked the brothers.

They both shook their heads, they knew he was talking about the demigods, "We were told there was another protector from Apollo and Hecate, I think its Pandora," Sirius said. Before James could say something, the doors opened and the girl they were just mentioning walked in, "Well it seems you three have found out," she spoke and some more people walked in. "Okay demigods state your names and your godly parents," she said.

"Xenophilius Lovegood, I am a son of Dionysus," the only blonde male in the room said.

"Okay that actually makes sense," James spoke with the brothers agreeing.

"Alice Fortescue, I am a daughter of Apollo."

"Frank Longbottom, I am a son of Demeter."

"Marlene McKinnon, I am a daughter of Aphrodite," Marlene spoke up.

"Also makes sense," Sirius cheekily spoke up, Marlene rolled her eyes, but everyone saw the blush.

"Now there is something called a Clear Sighted Mortal, I was one until I got blessed by Lady Hecate and Lord Apollo and became a Seer and another Guard. Madame Pompfrey is also a daughter of Apollo. You may have sensed that Severus Snape is a demigod too," Pandora motioned towards James who nodded.

"He is a son of Hades but doesn't know it. Sometimes if a child has a strong enough scent to monsters, the mortal parent will hide them by marrying somebody smelly this usually did not give them the best life," the Potter and Blacks nodded.

"So our father had told us this started because two people had met and then mentioned the le Fay line," Sirius started.

"It was supposed to happen when a child of magic and legacy of the dead had met the Death Line. It was prophesized to happen and that this couple would change everything," Pandora explained. James thought about it, he knew he was 'the Death Line' but who did he meet that was new, it hit him rather quickly, he couldn't stop thinking about this person all night, "Cassia," he whispered. He saw the other demigods smiling at him while the brothers were confused, "Yep, Cassia le Fay, daughter of Hecate and Granddaughter of Hades," Pandora said.

"We've met Lord le Fay, he was the only one who didn't lose his memory, but he was best friends with the Death Line and their Guard, even if they were all in different Hogwarts Houses, but as he was a demigod, he left for protection," Marlene said.

"So why are there three Guards instead of one?" James asked.

"I believe it's because we have more demigods, their wasn't very much then, practically none that actually knew, Braeden, he knew and that set off your dads," Pandora explained. They were interrupted by James quickly getting out his cloak and motioning the Black brothers, more specifically Sirius, but both of them over, as Remus and Peter opened the door, "Have you guys seen James and Sirius?" Remus asked.

"Nope, why would I be searching for them?" Marlene sassed while others shook their heads. The two closed the door, and the cloak came off, "Aw, McKinnon you would be searching for me," Sirius said. Marlene blushed again, whacking him on the arm.

"How come he couldn't sense you?" Frank asked.

The older two of the newcomers didn't question why they knew, "The cloak was used to hide from Thanatos, meaning he would not be able to sense what is under it, that includes smelling of any kind, on top of Remus having a really shitty sense of smell for one that's supposed to be heightened," James said, he had asked why Remus couldn't smell them before when they were under the Cloak. "So Cassia is officially coming?" James asked with barely hidden excitement. The demigods and seer nodded and James was almost bouncing in his seat, "So no Lily?" Sirius asked.

"Uh-uh," James shook his head.

"Oh thank fuck," came the relieved sighs of Marlene and Alice, "We couldn't stand her, it was just easier to watch out for you two until you guys found out."

"Yeah," Alice said, "We're best friends with Cassia even if she most likely will be Ravenclaw like her father, then we just have to room with Lily and that's it."

By the time they reached Hogwarts and got in, Sirius and James had been confronted by Remus and Peter and kept their answers short, Pandora and Xeno sat behind the two boys while they watched Regulus sit near Severus. Marlene and Alice purposely sat near the Marauders, Marlene next to Sirius who was surprisingly behaving and Alice sat next James with Frank on her other side, "If she starts talking before Cassia comes in, please start a conversation with me," Marlene said to Sirius who nodded.

"Potter," Lily spoke, walking over.

"Hey," was all James said, he was waiting not so patiently for the newcomers.

"What no flirting or asking me out?"

"Nope," he said surprising a few others nearby. Severus looked hopeful before Regulus said, "Don't get your hopes up."

Then it was announced for the newcomers, "We have a transfer student joining fifth year, Cassia le Fay," and then James saw the girl again, she walked up and sat on the seat, "RAVENCLAW," was called and she walked over to sit next to one of her favorite couples and smiled at James. Lily tried to speak to Marlene about why she was being ignored, but Sirius quickly started talking about the food on the table, Alice and Frank were talking while James took his plate and turned around to talk to Cassia who had also turned around with her food.
