Chapter Twenty Two

James woke up the next morning, cuddled around Cassia's small body. His creature side was feeling content having her in his arms, feeling her play with his hair absentmindedly. The two didn't talk, but they were startled when the door slammed open and Braeden came in, "Okay, long enough! Move away from my child," he demanded. Jay wanted to argue, but James was stopping him. 'Don't piss of the future father in law,' he told his creature half as he got out of the bed. "Both of you get dressed, Andromeda and Bellatrix will wake up their cousins," he told them and left. James could sense Cassia was still a bit upset, "Hey," he said, sitting back down by the purple eyed girl, "How about we have another date? I know you like the night time, so we'll have midnight snacks in the Astronomy Tower," he suggested.

Cassia's eyes lit up, "Treacle Tarts?" she asked.

"Treacle Tarts will be included," James agreed.

"Yay," she cheered and lunged for him, hugging him tightly, "Your parents are going to be okay," she reassured him. She knew Charlus had been okay, but on the way to St. Mungos she had another vision on what would happen if Dorea lived or died. She felt him squeeze her tighter, "James Charlus Potter! Get moving!" Braeden's voice called making James pull away quickly as Cassia giggled again. "Ten seconds!" they heard, James quickly got up, not before kissing Cassia on the cheek and ran out of the room, passing by the Blacks and into his room, leaving the blushing demigoddess behind.

About ten minutes before, Sirius and Regulus were awoken by the two women jumping on them, "Wake up!" Andromeda yelled.

"Or we're fucking up your hair," Bellatrix added.

Sirius and Regulus immediately sprung up, "Don't fuck with the hair!" they both said, glaring at the cackling sisters.

"Braeden wanted you guys up," Andromeda said.

"You're visiting Uncle Orion and then going back to Hogwarts," Bellatrix added. The brothers were quickly getting dressed before getting startled by hearing Braeden yell, "James Charlus Potter! Get moving!" followed by, "Ten seconds!" the four of them walked out of Sirius' room to see James running by in his sleepwear. Bellatrix peaked into Cassia's room seeing the blushing LeFay sitting there, "Oooooh, did he stay here last night?" she asked teasingly, getting a pillow thrown at her in response and the door closing so Cassia could get dressed. "Did you know her blush almost looks orange?" she asked. Sirius and Regulus nodded, they've seen it, "Really?" Andromeda asked.

"It's because she's three fourths godly blood so she has a bit more ichor," Sirius explained. Cassia had explained it to them when they saw Hecate blush gold. Because she's Hecate's daughter and her father is Hades' son, she had more godly DNA then other demigods, so she had a bit more ichor in her blood than a normal demigod would and it was noticeable if she blushed. Although, Hecate had put a precaution that no muggle could see it, so to any muggle, she blushed and bled red.

"Can our Uncle come here when he's released?" Andromeda asked Braeden when the group of four entered, quickly followed by James and Cassia.

"Yes, I will bring him here so you can see him. I have to make one more stop with them though," Braeden responded.

"Where?" they all asked.

"Well, we happened to have found out who attacked them. Boys, I know you're going to go after the person, but I do not want you getting in trouble and destroying the Potter and Black name, do you understand?" the three boys nodded. He silently asked the same question to Andromeda and Bellatrix, both of them nodding. The sisters were in hiding, Lucius and Narcissa would join them in the summers, they couldn't do anything. "But I want you four to remember to keep your rings on," he warned them. "Tell the others to keep their rings on," he adds. Cassia had her LeFay and Ravenclaw Heiress rings combined. James had his Potter, Peverell, and Gryffindor Heir Rings combined. Sirius had the Black Heir Ring and Regulus had been given a Heir Apparent Ring for the House of Black that would give the same protection the Heir ring would. Frank had the Longbottom Heir ring, Alice had the Fortescue Heiress ring, Severus had the Prince Heir ring, Marlene had the McKinnon Heiress Ring, Xeno had the Lovegood Heir ring, and Pandora had been given a Heiress Apparent ring for the Lestrange house. Regulus and Pandora knew they would not keep the rings forever, it was just protection. Eventually Regulus would be given the Black Heir ring until Sirius had children, and then he would have a normal Black Ring with the same protections. Although, if you ask Sirius, he would claim that Regulus would become the second Lord Prince. Pandora would eventually get the Lady Lovegood Ring which made her brothers feel a bit better that she would have that protection.

The teens and Braeden appeared back in St. Mungos to see Charlus looking like Charlus, while Dorea and Orion seemed more awake. Hecate and Apollo were already in the room, Thanatos and Hades appearing behind the group. James had rushed over to his mother, he's a momma's boy and he's not denying it, and hugged his father afterward. Orion had been tackled by two giant black dogs who happily licked his face before he changed into his other form to shake his two pups off. The three of them were also startled at hearing another bark and found in place of Dorea was a smaller black dog. "Orion and Dorea have been basically changed into Death Omens and have more sense in upcoming deaths than what Sirius and Regulus will," Hades explained.

"So they're animal banshees?" Regulus asked as they all changed back.

"Yes," Hades said. He explained that Dorea and Orion were essentially immortal. The same would happen to Sirius and Regulus if they were to die. Cassia had extended life because of the extra ichor in her blood. James and Charlus became Collectors meaning they were like Rumpelstiltskin (more like Mr. Gold in Once Upon a Time) in a way and also were essentially immortal. Frank, Alice, Pandora, Xeno, Marlene, and Severus would get an opportunity to become immortal to help set up safe spaces for muggle raised witches and wizards or demigods. Zeus was hesitant, but losing Demeter, Apollo, Aphrodite, Dionysus, and Hades would be bad. Demeter could cause all plants to deteriorate, so could Dionysus, and Persephone would follow them. Apollo could cause a plague and make the world heat up. Artemis would support her support her twin no matter how much she denies that she would. Aphrodite would fuck up the other demigods love lives. As Aphrodite is also the Goddess of Procreation, she could prevent new generations for being born. Being on the bad side of Hades had obvious reasons. So, Zeus agreed, especially after Poseidon sided with the group.

"Great. They're immortal," Thanatos comments, walking over to Orion, grabbing his face and kissing him right on the lips. The man was stunned when the god turned around and walked away. Orion turned his head slightly to his equally stunned sons, "Did he...?"

"Yep," the two responded.

"Okay," Orion accepted it, and nobody decided to comment about the happy dance they heard when he exited the room.

"Reggie, I think we're going to have a step father," Sirius comments. Regulus agreed, both of them still too stunned to say anything.
