Hey guys! It's been a very crazy week! I have been dog sitting for my parents while they went on their anniversary trip and thankfully little miss Layla will be getting picked up later today! I finally have time to sit down and update! Now, I have done hardly any homework since she has been here so you can imagine that I have done hardly any writing. My fear is that I will not be so ahead as I have been but we'll make it work! I am very sorry for the delay but fear not. I am posting this chapter today and the next one should come out on Wednesday as usual. Now that I am thinking about it I am posting on the correct day but missed Wednesday. Oh well. Here you go!-expressionwriter

This week I was living off coffee and nothing else. Charlie wanted to continue our video calls but I felt like I needed to be able to sleep on my own. Easier said than done though.

I was helping set up the whole castle and decorating everything. I was able to order people around and make the decisions. Sometimes I'd ask for my grandmother's approval but she liked the direction I was heading.

The castle was so huge that it would take at least three days minimum to decorate it all for the party. Growing up I was taught that people may have different statuses but that doesn't mean they should be treated poorly. I wanted those who helped make the party extravagant to have a good time while doing so. Jobs can be fun.

Everything was coming together. Tomorrow my mother would be arriving and I couldn't wait to see her. We haven't talked at all this summer. I felt somewhat bad but not really because I didn't want her to worry too much about my wellbeing.

I couldn't stop moving and working. I was all over the place. Joe was getting tired of following me around. He thought I could use a break but I had to make sure everything was perfect. For now, that was my primary focus.

Today is the last day I can put all of my energy into the party because tomorrow my mother is coming over and would want to see me and I have the interview tomorrow night. They were going to show glimpses of the party coming together, too which I thought was cool.

I was on a ladder hanging stuff on the walls when Joe and Charlie walked up to me. They were going to become distractions that I'd have to deal with sooner or later.

"Princess? May we have a word?" Joe asked.

"Later, okay? I'm busy right now." I answered.

"Aurora!" Charlie's voice echoed through the hall. I climbed down the ladder and faced him but kept my eyes down. "I have been trying to find you for hours. You're not answering your phone."

"I'm busy. You know that! I don't have time for this Charlie."

"When was the last time you slept?" I shrugged my shoulders because at this point I had no idea. "How do you not know! This is ridiculous Aurora! Come on! You can't think straight when you don't have enough sleep. Please explain to me what's going on."

I looked him straight in the eyes and walked away. He should know what is going on without me having to tell him for the millionth time. That to me is what is ridiculous.

The Queen and I continued walking around making sure everything was in its place. She fixed some decors that were out of place that she could see. I was stressed as she spoke. Then I noticed she had stopped walking and was trailing behind me.

"Aurora, dear, what's bothering you?"

"I-I haven't told him about the interview."

"Oh, well that's alright. Joe will be there for you during the interview. He needs to stay by your side for the next few days. Do you want Charles to be there?" I thought about it for a moment and nodded my head. "Then tell him. I'm sure he'll want to be there for you."
