It's Wednesday! I have had a very rough day! I have been trying to write where I am at in the book which is now chapter 26 but it's hard. I am very far ahead as you can see. That being said, I figured I'd update the new chapter now. I hope you enjoy it! There is still the TW!-expressionwriter

It has been hard transitioning back to normal princess life. Charles saved me but I also lost him for a while because of my actions. Thanks to my grandmother, he is back and we're together again. I've made many mistakes along the way since I've moved to Para. Trying to end my life definitely takes the cake.

Charles brought me back to reality. He told me that he loves me and even though I slept with my other boyfriends he didn't love me any less. When I have my panic attacks he helps me get through them. I probably wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him and his love for me. I only wish I can return the love but my insecurities are still there. My worries haven't gone away.

Grandmother has given me small tasks to do here and there. They've been pretty easy. She has been teaching me how to garden even. I like it so far. It's a good skill to know.

She surprised me at breakfast today. My birthday is coming up but for personal reasons, I don't celebrate it. When I lived with my mother she would allow me to skip school and stay at home. I hate my birthday with a passion and it causes me nothing but pain. She doesn't know this though.

"I have ideas for your birthday dear. I'm thinking of your first ball celebrating you! We'll invite the entire kingdom and make it your welcoming party as well. What do you think?"

"I appreciate the sentiment but I don't celebrate my birthday grandmother. I haven't for over a decade."

"Sweetie, we have to celebrate your birthday. What will people think of us if we don't? This is for your kingdom. I know life has been very hard for you lately but can you reconsider this? It doesn't have to be on your birthday. We could celebrate it a week before or a week after if that makes you feel more comfortable. Either way, I want you to learn the process of an event this big. This will be your special day and you would enjoy it more if you had control over the details."

"Can I give you my answer tomorrow while I think it over?"

"You may." We continued eating our breakfast. When her plate was empty she set her silverware down and stared at me. "Why don't you celebrate your birthday Aurora?"

"Because the last time I celebrated my birthday was when I was 8." She nodded and left the room. I couldn't finish what was left on my plate.

Today, I was meeting with the princes for a one on one date. They each asked how I was doing which I responded with my normal answer of "I'm doing good." I say this even if I'm not because when I do they change the conversation. I know exactly where I stand in their eyes.

"You look beautiful Aurora." Adrian complemented. I smiled and thanked him. "Anything new going on?"

"Hmm, not that I know of. I've been learning how to garden but that's about it."

"You get down in the dirt? Gosh, I would love to see that."

"Oh no. I don't mind the dirt. Brings me back to my childhood playing out in the mud. I wasn't one to shy away from getting dirty. And in the appropriate way, mister." He laughed knowing where I was going with that last comment.

"Well, that sounds fun. It's good to try new things." I nodded in agreement. "These short dates kind of stink. I wish I could have you longer."

"I know but we'll see each other again real soon. When is the tournament? I want to be there."
