I'm back!!! I am so sorry for this long hiatus I have been on. I will have to change when I update this book. My schedule is about to get immensely rougher and crazier starting next week and I barely have time to do other important things like making food and sleeping. I think for now I am going to update once a week and see if that works but if not I will update every other week. Thanks so much and I'm glad to be back even if it's not as much as I was last year!-expressionwriter

I was very nervous knowing everything Charlie told me. But I was also grateful that he was so open with me. The proposal should have been a surprise. I felt bad I couldn't let it be a surprise.

Charlie comforted me as I cried. He was going to be the best husband ever. I was going to feel wanted and loved as I have never felt before.

I sat at the dining table eating breakfast with my grandmother. It was quiet this morning. Charlie had stayed in bed while I had gone on my run. He gave me some space so I could think.

Before I knew it Katherine was standing next to me. She was acting like her ever so cheery self. I don't know how she could be happy all of the time. She's her own person who seems to love her life. Where I am still figuring out my place in all of this.

"Hello, your highness!" Katherine greeted.

"Hello, Princess Katherine."

"Just Katherine. How are you?"

"I'm doing okay. Can I help you with something?"

"Actually, there is something you can help me with. I'd like to be your friend and this is me reaching out."

"Oh, right. Well, you should know I've never had a friend that is a girl before. Charlie has been my only friend all of my life and we didn't speak for nearly fourteen years. You know how that is going with us. Not as great as I'd hope."

"Why is that?"

"Because I suck."

"Aurora-"

"I don't need a speech right now. If you'll excuse me I have things to attend to." She's like a peppier girl version of Charlie. No wonder why they get along so well.

I sat in my room for hours staring at the blank document that has been haunting me for several weeks. Anything and everything I'd write would get deleted. This is a part of the process but it never has been this hard for me.

My mind used to be so clear. I had objectives for the day that I completed and kept myself busy. My writing was an outlet for me. Now that outlet has been closed off. I can't access it anymore and I feel like the longer it takes the more insane I become.

Charlie and Katherine walked into the room together which worried me. Only because I felt like I was being double-teamed at the moment. As quickly as they came in I quickly escaped.

He called me on the phone and I declined it because I needed more time to myself. Before I knew it everybody was trying to locate me. The guards followed me and spoke into their walkie-talkies about where I was in the castle. It wouldn't be long now.

"Seriously, Aurora?" He didn't like that I declined the call. But I also never gave him an answer about my birthday. I had run off after that like the child I am. "Talk to me. What's going on?" Charlie reached out to take my hands into his.

"Nerves. Lots and lots of nerves. I feel like I'm being suffocated and it's...strange."

"How so?"

"I don't know how to explain it. But that's what it feels like. Sorry. I know I'm not making much sense right now. Do you need something?"

"Yeah, I do. Katherine is worried about you. You two talked earlier today and she got a weird vibe from your conversation."
