Hello! It's freaking October! How is it October already? This year is almost over with and that just seems crazy and impossible! I wasn't really sure what to name the chapter. Most of the chapters that I have written don't have titles so as I am editing before publishing the chapter I have to somehow figure it out. Anyway...please enjoy the new chapter!-expressionwriter

The princes asked to have a spontaneous group date with me which I obliged. I wasn't sure what we were going to be doing. That was until I found a box outside of my room with workout clothes. It was a cute set, too.

I changed into the outfit that was picked out for me and followed the instructions. They were dressed in tank tops and shorts. This wasn't really appropriate date attire but I am sure there is a reason why.

"Any reason why you wanted to sexualize my body right now?" I greeted the princes. They laughed but I remained skeptical. "Why am I wearing this?"

"If you must know, we have a special date planned," Adrian said.

"We heard you like to run and we wanted to race you," Stephen added. "Will you accept the challenge?"

"You princes want to race me? Oh boy. What's going on?" Frederik moved closer with a warm smile plastered on his face.

"It's just a little competition. Whoever runs the mile the fastest wins. The guys and I were talking about you Aurora and we wanted to do something that you love. This is our way of showing you that we listen to what you tell us." Frederik answered.

"Okay. Well, Frederik, I know I can beat you. The rest of you, hmm, we'll just have to see then." Charles remained in the back of the group. "Are you going to run with us?" He nodded his head. "Whoever touches the pole after running four laps around the track wins. Get ready to lose boys."

We walked outside to the track where Joe was setting up the pole. I downed some water in preparation for the run as well as a nice protein bar. They had no idea what they were getting themselves into.

"On your mark, get set, go!" Joe yelled. We ran past him. I gave it my all. I refuse to lose to these chumps. This was my chance to prove that I am better. That I am worthy.

I ended up passing two of them. I couldn't even see who it was because I was so focused on my running. As far as I knew I was in the lead. This was a great feeling and it only grew as I was the one who touched the pole first.

Those who say girls are weak are wrong. They say girls are meant to be in certain places not doing manly stuff. I say bullshit to that. We are stronger than they think and believe. All we have to do is show it and embrace the person we are.

"Aurora is the winner!" Joe announced. I looked back and there were still two princes running. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Sorry boys! Can't beat me!" I shouted in victory. They proceeded to dump water on me thus getting me soaked from the water jug that was ever so conveniently placed outside. I screamed as the cold water hit my skin. "Ahh not fair!" They laughed and laughed. I'm starting to think they won a little bit too after this stunt.

"We're not sorry for that one bit," Frederik shouted back. They hi-fived one another just like the masculine guys they think they are. Leopold wrapped a towel around me to keep me warm. "Was that fun?" I rolled my eyes and nodded my head.

"Yeah, it was. Thank you so much. All of you. I appreciate it. This was exactly what I needed." I sat on the bench gulping down some more water and watched them run around. This was nice.

Charles sat next to me with his own water bottle. He didn't say anything for a few minutes. I tried thinking of something to say to him but I came up blank. Maybe that is why he hasn't spoken to me yet?
