Eddy thundered into the office. His glasses were a little wonky today. His eyes were an ugly, pale green and he had buck teeth that made his face look like a donkey. He was skinny and weak, he was the perfect description of a nerd and he did no justice to the stereotype. Logan looked at him and noticed his angry face, his own eyes lit up with concern; "Woh Woh Woh, what's up Ed?" Eddy ignored him and sat down at his own chair; "Who let out Kaine?" He asked in that lispy voice of his. Logan pondered for an answer but shrugged; "No one. He must've escaped or was let out. We don't know. Why?" Eddy hesitated for a reply. He turned away and logged on to his computer. Logan placed his hand on the back of his chair and swung him around; "Eddy, what's wrong?" Eddy looked up at him and pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose; "Every person Kaine has killed so far are the people who told the police of his crimes when he was working with the office I worked in. I'm one of his targets." He frowned and turned back to his computer. Logan's hand dashed into his pocket and reached for the phone. He speed dialled Bronson and waited for a voice to answer from the other side. No response. The call was answered but just after Logan said 'hi', the phone line went dead and a long, dragged out static noise entered Logan's hearing. "Dammit."

Only a couple hours later, Bronson entered. He had bloody knuckles and a face like thunder. A coffee was in his left hand and he sat at his desk. "Where the hell have you been?" Logan demanded exiting his office. Bronson didn't look up and just waved. Logan swung him around to face him and he leaned in close; "Where have you been?" He whispered slowly and angrily. Bronson looked at him with teary red eyes and smiled; "Taking my anger out on a brick wall. Practicing to kill that psycho. What do you want from me Logan?" He snapped back argumentatively. Logan looked him in the eyes and said; "For you to grow up and be a man. People die, get over it. I know you were close but for god's sake, the killer is still out there as are the gang who possibly pose us a threat! So grow up and do your job!" He yelled at him. Logan backed away and Bronson threw his coffee at Logan. It missed and slammed against the window. Logan turned to face him, just in time to see Bronson charging at him, with fists clenched. They went through Logan's door and Bronson was on top. Slamming punches into Logan's face. He blocked it with his forearms and managed to get Bronson off. He picked him up and threw him against the wall. Bronson collapsed and Logan stood above him. He watched as Bronson groaned in pain.
