Everyone was at home today, granted it was a Sunday. Logan sat in his office, reading and checking over files. Snake's mostly. A knock echoed on his door, startling him. He beckoned them to enter and Bronson poked his head around the corner; "Can I..." Logan nodded and gestured to the chair opposite him. "Why are you in here, Detective? Why not go home?" Logan asked putting the files down and removing his glasses. Bronson shrugged and settled into the chair; "No one to go home to anymore. Snake said he's been planning this for years. When you knew him as a friend, did he ever say about a plan of his?" Logan shook his head. Bronson sagged and frowned, Logan felt the buzz of his phone against his leg and the screen lit up through his trouser pocket. He picked it up and sighed at the message that popped up; "I'm so sorry, Bronson. The Head Office have called me up to them in the city. They've said I have to go, if I don't they will take over all our cases and remove all of our officers from this precinct. I'm sorry, you're on your own now." Bronson sighed and his frown was bigger. His mind drifted into his thoughts and then he snapped back into reality. "But, I need your help for this case." Logan shrugged and pulled on his coat and picked up his car keys; "You'll figure it out. You're the best detective in the office." Bronson stood up and grabbed Logan's arm as he began to open it; "He wants me to meet him at the Mayor's house in an hour. That's why I needed to speak with you." Logan sighed and looked at the folded note in Bronson's hand. After a few moments he nodded and replied; "I'll go with you. But after that, I'm leaving." Bronson nodded and they left the office together.
