Thomas was worried about Snake arriving and demanding money. He was scared for his family, who were hiding in a bedroom with a barricaded door. They were safe, for now. There was silence. Then a knock. A deafening, spine curdling knock. Thomas slowly approached the door and opened it. One of Snake's men punched him in the stomach, sending him to the ground. "Where's the money, Mr.Neil?" The thug said angrily through his scratchy voice. Thomas hesitated and struggled to his feet; "I have barely any. Please. Take what I have, that is it." He handed him a Tesco bag full of cash and the thug smiled; "You're lucky Mr.Smith. You're the final guy we've visited and the only one we haven't had to beat to get money from. We've had to kill half of the people and rob 'em. Thanks. Goodbye." The thug left Thomas alone in the dark corridor of his empty house and he cried. He sobbed his heart out and he cried like never before.
