~little bump in the road (date night pt.9)~

HRVYs POV
I was currently at home by myself, y/ns working a full day today, Elliott has taken both the boys out instead of just Lucas this week. There's nothing to do so I just switched on the tv and scrolled through Instagram.

Y/Ns POV
Today was quite stressful, I had a year 9 class which just wouldn't listen to instructions, next I had my year 11s they were just planning their devised pieces so they weren't much trouble. I was having a conversation with one of the girls in my class, when my phone beeped

Elliott: hey y/n, didn't want to disturb you at work but Thomas' chest is quite bad. I just have him in the pram but I think it's best if I take him home xx

"who's that miss" Phoebe, one of the girls asked

"My fiancé's brother, my youngest isn't feeling well, he has a chest infection" I explained

"Awh I hope he's ok" she replied

I replied to elliotts message

me: it's fine Elliott, maybe get him home, if Harvey's in leave him with him and you and Lucas can stay out of you want xx

Elliott: just dropped him off with Harv xx

me: thanks Elliott, your the best xx

"Miss can we see a picture of your kids" Mollie asked

"Of course you can", I put a selfie I took of me Lucas on the board from last week

"Miss he's adorable" Mollie replied "how old is he" she asked

"He's turning 3 in two weeks" I replied, then put the picture from last night of Thomas asleep on Elliott on the board "this was taken last night, he turns 1 in November" I replied

"Miss he's adorable, is that your man" she said addressing Elliott

"No that's Elliott, my fiancé's brother who texted me before" I explained

The bell then went signalling home time, I said goodbye then packed all my stuff away locking the drama room. I was walking through the corridors waving at other members of staff wishing them a nice weekend.

I got into my car and drove home, getting excited about seeing my boys and hopefully just chill out after feeling stressed.

"I'm home" I shouted through the door, as I saw Harvey just sat on the couch scrolling through his phone

"hey babe" he replied still looking at his phone

"where's Thomas?" I asked

"playroom" he said back

I walked into the playroom and saw Thomas playing with his trains, "hey bubs" I said picking him up and putting him on my hip walking into the kitchen seeing it a mess from breakfast. Walking back to where Harvey was

"Why's the kitchen not clean?" I said to him

"Cause I used it before" he replied back

"Harvey there was a bunch of house jobs I wanted doing today, you haven't done any of them so I guess that's what I'm gonna have to do now" I said sternly

Harvey then stood up putting his phone in his pocket "ok miss y/l/n, you can take your teacher voice off now your home" he said sarcastically back

"NO! IM NOT HAVING IT, I ALWAYS DO THE JOBS HARVEY, AND YOUR JUST SAT ON YOUR BACKSIDE" I shouted to him

"SAT ON MY BACKSIDE?" he shouted, as Thomas started crying, so I rocked him side to side

"ELLIOTT TEXTED ME BEOFRE SAYING HE DROPPED THOMAS OFF WITH YOU, YOUVE BEEN HIME DOING NOTHING ALL DAY AND IM SICK OF IT" I yelled picking up my keys, still with Thomas on my hip

"Oh where are you going then" Harvey said sarcastically

"Out"I spited back opening the door

"what about Thomas" he said back coming behind me

"He's coming with me" I slammed the door

I walked with us both to the car, Thomas was still
crying, I strapped him in his seat and started stroking his cheek

"Mummy's so sorry bubs" I said trying not to cry, I closed the door and got in the drivers seat. Firstly I checked the time 4:40pm, so I texted someone

me: where are you? x

person: Park near the centre x

me: I'm on my way x

So I reversed off of the drive and drove for about 20 minutes until we arrived at the park, I unstrapped Thomas from his car seat and carried him on my hip until we saw Elliott and Lucas

"Y/n are you okay, you look upset" Elliott said, I was still trying to hold back tears.

"Mummy!" Lucas said running over and hugging my legs, I just smiled at him

"Lucas how about you go and show Thomas the slide" Elliott quickly said noticing I was upset, taking Thomas from me and putting him down to walk

He can't walk properly yet but when he's holding someone's hand he can, so Thomas took his hand and they walked to the slide

"Y/n what's wrong" Elliot said, I just burst into tears
"hey come here" he said bringing me into a hug

"we had an argument, it's all my fault really, I've been stressed all day" I explained

"what did he do" he asked

"didnt do any of the house jobs I needed him to do" I said messing with my fingers

"Y/n, Harvey really really loves you, he would never do something like that on purpose trust me" Elliott said

"Your right." I said back "thank you"

"Anytime, we'll it's getting colder We'll best get these two home" Elliott said

"Let go boys," I said picking up Thomas and holding Lucas' hand "Elliott we'll give you a lift home" I said

"Thanks y/n" he said

We dropped Elliott back home and we pulled up onto the drive of ours house, I got Lucas out of the car as he ran through the door of our house, I carried Thomas on my hip through the door.

"Daddy!" Lucas said running into Harvey's arms

"Hello luci" he said hugging him

"Lucas will you go and play with Thomas in the playroom" I said to him

Lucas took his younger brothers hand and they walked into the playroom, Harvey made his way closer to me but I was just looking at my hands as I messed with my fingers

"Y/n, I'm so sorry" he said taking his hand and putting it on top of mine, I was still looking down "I love you so much, I would never do it on purpose" he said as he put his fingers under my chin a lifting my head up to face his, our faces are just centimetres away

"I know, and I love you so much, I'm so sorry I've just had a stressful day" I said

"I understand, but for now just give me a kiss" he smiled closing the gap as our lips joined together.

"I'll love you forever" he mumbled in the kiss

"and always" I answered back
