(This isn't the best chapter but I needed one more filler so I'm so sorry but here goes!)
"Chey, open this door immediately!!"
"I'm sorry I ran off Cal, but I just..you didn't tell me and-"
The door was knocked down. But Callum wasn't there. Someone else stood before me. Brown-y blonde hair, dreamy blue eyes.
"Hunter?"
He took a step into my room and pulled me close, kissing me passionately, tenderly, for the wait had been so long. Our lips moved together ever so quickly as he pushed me against the wall.
His grip tightened on my hips ever so slightly. Then his warm hands left my hips and reached for the wall, to keep me secure. He tucked my hair behind my ear. As he did, he broke the contact and instead leaned towards my ear.
"But you don't like me."
And he was gone.
I looked around, shocked at what had just happened. I couldn't believe he'd just disappeared.
"Cheyenne."
I turned and ran up to another figure who had emerged from nowhere. I held his ever so slightly pale face and looked into his pretty blue eyes. His chestnut brown hair was all messy, which was adorable.
"Kai." I smiled.
"Why haven't you texted me?" He pulled back and I raised an eyebrow.
"But, you've been sick and..things have been happening and-"
He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. He pulled me close, in a gentle hug and swayed me.
"Shh, it's okay."
My head lay on his chest, comfortably. Until he leaned down to my ear and whispered "But you don't like me."
And he was gone.
"Well, would you look at that."
I turned once again to see a blonde stood just in front of my door.
"Jessica? How do you know where I live?!"
"I know everything about everyone. That's why my hair's so big, it's full of secrets. But that's besides the point." She walked towards me and began circling me, making me feel extremely uncomfortable.
"This is what happens when you two-time, Chey."
"But I didn't-"
"You told the boy you liked that you didn't like him, and convinced the boy you didn't like that you liked him. Babe, you've screwed up."
"So, what do I do?"
"You really think I'm gonna help you, clean up this mess you've made? You've caused everyone nothing but pain!"
I looked down at my feet, eyes flowing with tears.
"Nobody wanted you here in the first place."
Jessica pushed me into the wall and suddenly I was falling. And everything became...black.
_______
"Chey? Chey? C'mon Chey." I faintly heard a voice calling my name. My eyes opened to see the caller, but my lids were heavy and wanted to close again.
"Shh, it's going to be alright."
I was picked up and placed on a bench. The voice sat beside me.
My eyes opened suddenly and I could see that I was in the girls changing room - with Will?
"What happened? Why are you in the gir-"
"I heard a bang."
"Oh." Was my response, as I couldn't find the energy to say anything else.
"Did you, um, find a good college?"
"Cut the crap, Cheyenne. What's up with you?" He asked, giving me a look that told me he wasn't giving up anytime soon.
"I um, things have been complicated. Love has been complicated."
"Love isn't complicated. People are."
Wow, who knew that Will Jackson could be so inspiring?!
"It's Hunter isn't it? And Kai? You're stuck."
I looked up at him with wide eyes. Was I that obvious? I nodded, a frown appearing on my lips.
"Well, I better get outta here before the girl's volleyball team comes in, but remember - if you want something, go for it. Your own is the only opinion that should matter to you."
"Thanks." I murmured. I wasn't sure if the smile I gave him came across as grateful, but I sure was. And I knew what I had to do.
Number 1. Politely friend zone Kai.
Number 2. Talk to Kota and find out what's up.
Number 3. Pursue Hunter Campbell.
______
(May I just say, I REALLY like some of the quotes in this chapter. For example,
'If you want something, go for it. Your own is the only opinion that should matter to you' - Will Jackson
Like, wow, I wrote that. I feel like a motivational speaker. I expect to see many Instagram bios flooded with this quote. XD nah.
Oh and also...
'Number 3. Pursue Hunter Campbell' is one of the best lines I've ever written. Bc YAS. Alright I'll shut up. Bye bby.)
