(I love you all so much. Do you know that? Your comments and inboxes make my day. I'm sorry TTT hasn't been up to standard lately, but I hope this chapter, featuring different POVs, will make up for it. Please comment telling me what you thought. It really helps me improve. I love you. Thankyou.)
I can't do this. I can't. What if I disappoint the team? Then I'm totally dead!
Oh no. Jessica's in the bleachers. Wait...almost ALL of the girls in school are in the bleachers. Oh Ava, trust you to be different.
Kai's over there, Kota's over there, Calum's over there.
And so is Hunter.
Who's dumb idea was is to move me to this school?!
Alright, I'm not up yet. First it's 100m sprint. This was Kai's event.
It was totally unfair to friend zone him right before he raced.
So, instead, I made my way over to Kota.
"Hey." I spoke at first, turning to face him.
He turned to look at me and smiled shyly.
"So, we haven't spoken in a while." I continued.
"Yeah."
Yeah? YEAH?! That was it just yeah?
"I miss you Kota. Will you please tell me what's going on?"
"I-"
"I mean we haven't been talking for weeks and I just miss our chats."
"I-"
"Just speak to me would you?!"
"I LIKE CHASTITY!"
The nearby crowd went silent. My jaw dropped. He basically screamed out his inner feelings and I couldn't help but feel guilty.
"So, why were you avoiding me?"
"I didn't want you to suspect anything.."
Looking into his adorable brown eyes I couldn't help but pull him in for a hug, but I was interrupted by a gentle clearing of someone's throat.
"Is this true...Dakota?"
I turned to see Chastity stood behind us. I could tell it was her - she was in pink.
Kota sheepishly stood, making his way over to Chast, scratching the nape of his neck.
"Yeah, I know, I mean, you're way too good for me and stuff and I just-"
Chastity grabbed Kota's cheeks and brought his face to hers, pressing her lips against his. Kota's arms immediately wrapped around Chast's lower back as he kept her close. The crowd nearby sighed happily as the pair broke apart. Chastity giggled as Kota grinned widely.
"Hey." He murmured.
"Hey." She mumbled back.
"Want to go out?"
"After you win that first place spot." She pecked him on the cheek then left, and I could feel myself starting to tear up.
This made me realise how much I'd truly screwed up with Hunter. And I had to sort things out. I looked around for him, only to find him in a deep make-out session with Jessica.
I guess I was too late.
I walked away, knowing where I now stood with Hunter.
_______
-HUNTER'S POV-
I pushed the desperate golden blonde away from me.
"Jess, how many times do I have to tell you, I'M NOT INTERESTED?!"
