(One of the songs mentioned is on the side. If you want to know the others, let me know. Or if you can name them, that would be fab bc they're by some of my fave bands!!
Happy reading kids!)
'So, we placed top in the comp. I know, isn't it fantastic?! And everything's going amazing! Hunter and I are officially...well, we like eachother - we're not properly together yet. And Kota and Chast, or Chota as everyone's calling it, is TOTALLY adorable!!
Kai and I-
Holy crap that rhymed!
Anyway, we're friends. We're totally cool. It's like we didn't even kiss! And I'm determined to fix him up with someone.
Even if he did put dye in my shampoo the other day. (It was so obvious though. My shampoo is white, so when it was dark, I knew something was up. What a bloody joker.)
Anyway, we're all off on this camping trip! Eeek! I'm super excited! I'm tent sharing with Ava, which should be eventful.
The only thing I'm a little worried about is the dark...
And Jessica Grey.'
I closed my diary and locked it tight.
Yes, I keep a diary. Shut up.
I was almost done packing. Or was I? Damn, who knew packing could be so stressful?!
At least I didn't have to worry about chargers and all that, as we were going camping and weren't allowed luxuries.
I made sure I had my supplements though. And all the clothes I needed. And my diary. And a blank notebook to draw or write on if I got bored.
I stood from my bed, turning my music off. Is it just me or do you find that if you put music on, you get things done a lot quicker?
The knock on my door was my queue to leave. The trip was only for three days, but that's still three days without my parents. I hugged them as I ran down the stairs, suitcase in hand.
"See you!"
Opening the door to Ava, I smiled.
"Let's get this party going!" I exclaimed, running past her to put my stuff in the boot. I sat in the passenger's seat - Chast and Trin were in the back.
We drove to the camp site with our music blaring, windows down and arms in the air. Well, except Ava. Her hands were on the wheel, obviously.
"I'LL BE THE ONE TO STORM IN THE CASTLE, WE'LL BE THE TWO HEARTS BEATING FASTER!" Trinity sang, very loudly.
"Man, I love this band!"
"Have you seriously not heard of them before?" Trinity asked me, as I admitted to being unfamiliar with the song earlier.
"No! But hey, let me put one of my songs on..."
I grabbed the phone off of Trinity and played a song that I liked.
"I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECRET. DONT TELL ANYONE OR YOU'LL BE JUST ANOTHER REGRET!"
"Wait, I want one of my songs!"
Chastity then took the phone and began singing along.
"SHE TOLD ME TO MEET HER THERE, I CANT AFFORD A BUS FARE. I'M NOT OLD ENOUGH FOR HER I'M JUST WAITING TIL I'M 18!"
"Chastttt, we were on a roll with boy bands that not many people talk about. They're really recent!"
"But they're great!" Chastity fought.
I switched the music off, earning a few 'chey!'s from the girls.
"Alright alright, I've been dying to ask this whole ride - how are things with Kota?!" I asked Chastity, grinning widely.
She went bright red and Trinity laughed over at her sister.
"He's been over to the house a couple times." The twin without the red cheeks spoke. "Up in the bedroom..."
Chastity covered her face and me and Ava gasped.
"Ohmygod, Chast. You haven't have you?" Ava questioned, with wide eyes still on the road.
"Of course not!" We sighed in relief. "BUT if we ever do, don't worry about me. Kota's SO nice. He'd never push me into something I didn't want to do!"
"Guys I think we're here!!" Trinity chimed, and we all piled out the car.
I immediately made eye contact with Hunter who stood before me. He bit his lip, scratching the back of his neck. Damn, he was fine.
Once I'd unloaded my suitcase, I ran over to him, embracing him.
"Chey-By."
"Campbell."
I pulled back and smiled up at him, triumphantly.
"Alright kids! Let's get your tents up and then we can start with these camp activities!!" One of the teachers exclaimed.
"Shame we can't share a tent." Hunter taunted, brushing a piece of my hair back with a clear smirk on his soft lips.
"But then you might get a risky idea."
He tugged my waist towards him, which made me gasp in surprise.
"Sometimes the risky ideas can be the best ideas."
I bit my lip leaning in towar-
"LETS KEEP IT PG KIDS!"
We broke apart quickly and I scrambled off to put up my tent.
___
After a good long while, Ava and I had finally managed to put our tent up. We could now finally join the campfire.
I sat between Hunter and, sadly, Hayden. BUT he totally knew that Hunter and I were like a thing(ish) so he kept his hands off.
We sang songs, told scary stories and basically bonded. Hunter burnt most of his marshmallows so he made me roast him some.
Way to set back feminism a few years, Chey!
Once everyone started to leave, Hunter pulled me over to a tree for us to hide behind while we kissed, so we didn't get caught. He didn't care about getting caught, but he knew that I didn't really want a detention once we got back to school. He's so sweet.
"Sweat dreams, princess."
I giggled and kissed him one last time before walking away and over to our tent.
"Um, Chey..." Ava started.
I looked down to see our tent had been taken down and looked like it did before we put it up!
It was midnight and we were going to have to spend God knows how long setting this all up again.
"BUT- THAT TOOK US- HOW?!"
"Look." She motioned to a piece of paper hidden by a pile of leaves.
I leant down, pushing the leaves off the paper and read the note.
'Who needs the Triple T when you've got the Triple J? xxx'

I need to stop with these quotes, man.
