Brennende Ønske
"Warriors don't show their heart until the Axe reveals it." Floki.
I swung my hand to meet his face a powerful clap echoed between the book shelves, he didn't even flinch at the impact. Loki just casually turned his head back, first stretching his jaw and with that smug look on his face I was completely trapped in those eyes.
"Careful sweetheart don't tempt me."
How had I not sensed the pain?! I was so caught up in our kiss, I was blind to it... or was it his magic that shielded me?
"How dare you!" My rage couldn't be contained, I stood a bolt of golden light exploding from my hands in turn scattering papers, sheets flying in my wake.
"You accepted the deal Alison I'm merely solidifying that decision. There can be no betrayal of that deal with these ruins present Iver." He held my flaming glare, stepping forward challenging me, inches away from my face. I had backed him to the mantle, the fire crackled; logs collapsing into the embers, the warm glow a stunning back drop contrasting to his midnight hair.
I went to swing again but he caught my wrist in a firm tight grip, his large fist dwarfed my slim wrist. In a swift motion he pushed me back into the sofa, joining my other wrist in his one hand, he raised them above my head pinning them against the tall back of the sofa.
I could feel my skin beginning to burn the power of the bracelet humming to be used, simmering just below the surface. I could hurt him... I could burn him too.
Pushing my legs apart with his knee, he leant there pushing his bent knee right up to my centre the friction of him and my dress driving that nub of nerves to the edge. Placing his other hand around my throat, and putting his weight onto his knee holding me in that position; I relaxed into his grip. The cold compress of his hand on my raging flushed skin made my powers calm; the bracelet complained disliking being controlled by another.
"I think we'll savour that behaviour for the bedroom my love." His sly smile returned, glancing down to the now sealed ruins, taking his time meeting my eyes again. He observed my breasts rise and dip as my breathing quickened at the thrilling turn of events. The sheer thought of us tangled together had been enough to make his hard length visible, straining against his thin cotton pants it longed to be touched.
"What. Did. You. Do." I gritted my teeth in anger, his firm hold wouldn't be impossible for me to escape although it would be a lie if I said I didn't rather enjoy being pinned underneath him like this.
- I'll take note of that... my hands around your throat do make a pretty necklace. -
My eyes blazed in fury at his voice so clear in my head, like he was there wrapped within my own conscious.
"How?!" I couldn't muster the words in my shocked state.
"I had to be sure you weren't lying, that you felt something too. These ruins they bond the wearers, weaving our souls together over time. They allow the pair to communicate telepathically, to hear each others immediate thoughts and take each others pain away. They're usually saved for marriage but ever the un-traditionalists we are, I thought I'd take the chance to see if we were compatible..."
"Bond our souls...I do not owe you anything Loki! Including telling you how I feel. I could already communicate that way, why go to this length?! How could you betray me like that?!" Anger it broiled in every vein.
- It is a far cry from a betrayal sweetness, you're practically betrothed to me...If our souls did not match it sure as hell wouldn't have been that painless... I needed to know that you are the right decision. That you weren't some trick or ploy. -
